Ferrous Sulphate 325mg modified release
Hi, is there anyone else in the UK using modified (sustained/slow) release
ferrous
sulphate
325mg or have you been able to obtain the normal, immediate release
ferrous
sulphate
in this dose?

Taking Ferrous Sulphate Exhausts Me, Any Alternatives?
I have now had a prescription for 200mg
Ferrous
Sulphate
(2 x a day) and 5mg Folic Acid (1 daily) since March. I haven’t improve at all, if anything I’ve gotten worse.

Can Low Iron levels be caused by under medication for hypothyroidism
The GP thought the levels were due to a internal bleeding and insisted I had a bowel cancer test before she would prescribe Iron tablets and it was clear and I was given a prescription for
ferrous
sulphate
. I was sent to have a chest x-ray which was also clear.

How to escape Augmentation?
and pregabalin) Doctors also prescribed melatonin, Co-codamol30/500 and
ferrous
sulphate
, After two to three years on rotigotine patches (up to 4 mg/da) they where stopped and only then did I realise I was in augmentation because of the dopamine agonists.

Iron supplements dosage
Would a slow release be better, like
ferrous
sulphate
325mg? Or will it need to be taken a while to get into my system

Confusion
Should I be taking the
ferrous
sulphate
in the morning as I think that's what the doctor said to do. And I take magnesium before bed. Has anyone some advice please.

Daytime RLS
.,…, I’m also taking
Ferrous
Sulphate
every other day to try to raise my iron levels, which is happening, albeit slowly. Weirdly, the RLS has got worse since I’ve been taking it.

Iron tablets - difference?
I’m based in the UK and am currently taking
Ferrous
Fumerate (switched from
Ferrous
Sulphate
) to try to increase ferritin levels. My Ferritin levels had gone up and now seem to have dropped a little for some reason - new tests being done soon.

Any red flags in these results or am I barking up wrong tree?
My Ferratin levels are within range but I tend to feel better when higher so I have switched from
Ferrous
Sulphate
(which did nothing despite taking for months), to a Heme Iron suppliment.

Advice needed on iron/ferritin levels please
I'd be really grateful if anyone could advise on whether I need to be concerned about my iron/ferritin levels. I'm seeing a neurologist tomorrow and want to be well informed. I have results from my last three blood tests so hopefully that might help. Serum iron level: October 2023 - 7.7 umol/L; January

Bad RLS.
Hi all, I've been hovering around these boards for a couple of years now but this is my first post. I am a 39 year old male. As a child and adult sometimes after walking a lot during the day I would have the urge to move my legs when I was in bed trying to sleep, it would feel like I had excess

My response to the AASM Guidelines For RLS
I am posting this in the hope that it helps in forming your own response and if you agree with some of them, including them in your own response might help them pay more attention to them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iron tablets and T3 timing?
I'm trying to raise my low ferritin (33 at last test) and am taking
ferrous
sulphate
twice a day (will be testing my levels again soon).I was previously taking my T3 meds once a day but am having a bit of trouble tolerating a recent 5mcg increase (was taking 10, now 15mcg) so I'd like to try splitting

The recent AASM Draft Guidelines
I finally had a chance to look at the recent AASM Draft Guidelines. I was surprised by a number of things. They should have had something between conditional for and conditional against. Why did they choose those particular things? Some don't even have much relevance to improving RLS such as antidepressants
