Ferrous Sulphate 325mg modified release

Hi, is there anyone else in the UK using modified (sustained/slow) release ferrous sulphate 325mg or have you been able to obtain the normal, immediate release ferrous sulphate in this dose?

My GP is telling me it is only available as modified release (or this may be the only one on their prescribing formulary for that GP practice.

I’ve look Sue on Amazon uk and unless I’m incredibly stupid, I seriously can’t find it. I might just go for the Bisglycinate instead. Is that 25mg alternate nights?

Unfortunately because I'm in the US I can't look on Amazon.UK. Try putting Nature Made in the search box. They make a number of products including ferrous sulfate. Or yes you can take Iron Bisglycinate instead 25mg on alternate nights.
