Unicornuate Uterus and Endometriosis
Hello everyone, I'm a 52 year old mum to a 24 year old daughter who suffers terribly with endometriosis. She was also born with a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn. She's tried all sorts of treatments over the past 3 years without much success, she's now looking at a hysterectomy. Her endometriosis

Reoccurrence of Rectovaginal endo
I’ve had an MRI recently which shows my Rectovaginal endo has reoccurred after hysterectomy and bilateral ovary removal. My gynaecologist think the risks of further surgery may outweigh the benefits. She has treated me for years in a BSGE specialist centre and I trust her implicitly. My question is whether

Thy3a snd Thy3f -watch and wait?
I am new here and was wondering if anyone could offer advice as things seem to be moving too quick. I am female and 52. On being referring to ENT in April 2019 for a lump under chin, which turned out to be enlarged lymph, not of importance, it was discovered during ultrasound that I had “suspicious”

I have to withhold my tocilizumab
I was taken into hospital again with cellulitis on my leg put on intravenous antibiotics and am now at home on antibiotic tablets. This means that I have to withhold my tocilizumab. My concern is that if I have a flare what should I do. Increase my pred and by how much? I am now on 8mgms. Tried to reduce

They will rebuild me !
Some of you may know, after a bad fall last year that resulted in my badly smashing both wrists, I’ve needed to have surgery to rebuild them. I had the surgery done in my left wrist in September and then straight into gallbladder removal at the beginning of December. I now have my date for my ankle replacement

Frustrated with my recovery....
Had a total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo oopherectomy and excision for Stage 4 Endometriosis on August 12th 2019 and recovery after this was slow as I expected. Was 12 weeks before going back to work and went back on reduced hours. Now January and still struggling. Don’t know what’s going on inside

Vision problems with Femara?
Have any of you experienced blurry vision with Femara? I already have brain damage from the Exemestane that has left me dizzy and off-balance. My cerebellum is miscommunicating with my eyes making them jump around causing the above problems. Also, can anyone verify how much of a kickback doctors

Questions about what happens after hysterectomy & unilateral ovary removal
Hi, Just trying to get my head round my options. I’m due to have an op to remove the endo on my bowel & will probably have a hysterectomy (due to adenomysis) and one ovary removed. I said that I’d prefer to keep my right ovary (which is healthy apparently) as I thought if I do that I might be able

Femara side-effects you are experiencing
What kind of side-effects are you having with Femara? I have severe brain damage from Exemestane that has taken away at least 50% of my balance. I can't ignore the fact that Femara has SO MANY possible side-effects including dizziness and would suffer such a detriment to the quality of my life that

Long overdue, concerned update..
Hello everyone.. I haven't posted an update on here for ages.. sorry. Had my ablation in June last year and have been doing really well since then. Moved house (and country) got a new job and everything. Not so much as a flicker from my heart in that time. Came off all the meds apart from ACs. Just

My treatment journey
I found out my cancer had returned matastatic to my bones and liver. Went through 10 months of Abraxane chemo and then was put on Ibrance. Had all the aches and pains with it. I was taking Ibrance with Letrosole. Had to change to non generic Femara. It worked about a year. I am now on Femara

Any Experience with Tocilizumab and GCA?
I am reading that it may reduce the likelihood of relapse and can reduce the long term dosage of Prednisone. Has anyone had experience with it, good or bad?

HRT / HYSTERECTOMY & OOPHORECTOMY FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS
Hello! I'm 42 and having a total hysterectomy in April and about to start prostrap with tibolone. 4 surgeries so far, last was in April and diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis, now with many bladder complications and suspected thoracic involvement but nothing being doing for lung and bladder issues.

Prostap warning - seizures
I felt bullied into being given Prostap without sure diagnosis (turns out my pain is a
femoral
hernia
and that’s been another battle resulting in a change of hospitals). However, yesterday I suffered a grand mal seizure, 4 weeks after my Prostap injection.

Polyp removal booked
I have found a clinic that will just do a hysteroscopy/polyp removal with not seeing them for any other services. Had an initial consultation there this week, and they have booked me in for the 7th January. Great news! Still over three weeks away, so I'm going to struggle with that length of time, but
