Overheating
Does anyone suffer from their body overheating when doing the slightest physical work, Over the last month or two, as soon as I start a small project where it is slightly physical I sweat, my forehead feels sore and it feels as though my body temperature has risen, Only taking Atorvastatin, Amlodipine

Should my medication stop?
Hi everyone, I had a heart attack a year ago when I was 43 and had a stent fitted. I'm certain that I was told I would come off most of my medication after a year but my GP thinks I'll only come off one of them. The heart-related drugs I currently take are - atorvastatin, bisoprolol, ramipril, aspirin

Nightmare over dose reduction....support needed!
So my doctor decided I could drop my meds. Was on 10mg ramipril and 5mg amlodipine and we dropped it to 5mg ramipril keeping amlodipine the same.No change in good readings around 118/78 so ten days later she says drop to 2.5mg.Well I felt this was quick but gave it a go. Lasted three days on

Shortness of breath and wheezing :(
Good Day, I have been having shortness of breath and wheezing for about 10 months now. It started with heart palpitations and headaches. I went to my doctor and he put me on amlodipine 10mg. I eat healthy and exercise 4-5 times per week and fit for my age. I thought that I could cure my blood pressure

High cholesterol?
I am 56yr old female. Surgically induced menopause Jan 2016 (although I reckon I was in it to a far or lesser degree). My cholesterol has been raised for a few years and as I suffer with health anxiety specifically heart related this has always been a concern. The doctors were never overly concerned

"Slave to the rhythm" - again!
I have been in persistent AF since 28th Feb, having had to come off Amiodarone (which worked well at controlling my AF but the side effects of the over active thyroid made me feel really ill). I referred myself back to an EP I had seen once previously as is hopeless trying to see someone on the NHS at

Aortic Disection
I was diagnosed with AD in July 2018. I am too old for surgery which is very risky and could cause stroke, paralysis and even death, so basically I am living on borrowed time. I have been given Amlodipine and Indapamide to keep BP below 120 and take my own BP readings. Apart from echos and dye included

Stent recovery time?
Have been on the usual meds for 3 months while waiting for this procedure - asprin, bisoprolol,
ramipril
,
felodipine
, astovastin - no issues with any of those. But the new one is ticagrelor and I did read one of the side effects is breathlessness. Does this settle down after a while?
