Ongoing tummy problems
Saw
liver
consultant and he said I had some
fatty
liver
also. I am to start blood letting later this month though I got the impression the consultant was not certain my symptoms were even caused by haemocromatosis. But all my tummy problems remain and the symptoms above are constant.

Non Alcoholic Liver Disease
I was diagnosed with Non Alcoholic Liver Disease Cirrhosis. Am I allowed to drink any type of alcohol or not. I’ve never been much of a drinker. Special Occasions Only. Normally I would drink WKD. Is that still okay to drink or should I stop altogether?

I've had it confirmed. I've got HCC.
So following on from my previous posts, I've been told the images on the MRI have shown HCC. It's currently a single, small but treatable area. I already have a shunt (my 2nd one) and I'm already in a transplant clinic for monitoring but not on the list or had assessment. My consultant has said when

so confused and scared
hi there I don’t know if anyone can offer any help as I’m completely confused. Four years ago I had just a routine blood test and my liver function tests were through the roof. I had a liver biopsy which came back as clear so my gastro doc said it’s NAFLD and to lose a bit of weight and that was it.

Fatigue after eating
However I am still struggling and this week, I got a letter from the liver nurse advising that my last US showed a bright, patchy
liver
which I believe refers to
fatty
deposits? I am left wondering if my symptoms are caused by this despite the normal bloods?

Starting treatment soon.
First of all, I'm hep c positive, diagnosed decades ago. Everything has been 'good' until recently. I had some bloodwork done about a month ago. My liver enzymes spiked (they've always been good), so my GI doctor ordered a fibroscan. The result was a 13, so I was diagnosed as F3 via the scan. Since

E.D. with cirrhosis
Do any men here take E.D. medication who have cirrhosis? If so, what meds, what stage cirrhosis? Experience and advice please. Is tadalafil (Cialis) less harsh on the liver than sildenafil (Viagra)? Other options? Of course I won't take anything without being given by my doctor.

wondering if I may have pancreatitis
so I have been plagued with abdominal pain for a while and have been told that it’s due to an enlarged /
fatty
liver
. I worked on it for years , lowering my weight and adjusting my diet . I’m a new person entirely and have recently been told by a Hepatologist that my liver is doing well.

Possible Hemochromatosis?
Been under investigation but Hepatologist due to constant high GGT and ferritin.. but they can't find anything wrong apart from mild siderosis and
fatty
liver
disease from a liver biopsy in 2019. Should I ask them if they would do a full iron panel?

Latest results - where to go next?
Hi all, I'm back with another request for your valuable input. I started levothyroxine treatment for Hashimoto's in February, and at my last review my GP agreed an increase to 62.5mcg (50/75 on alternating days). Things have improved in many areas - I seem to be back to a manageable level of energy in
