One of the NIHR liver partnership research teams in the UK is working on a study to encourage patients with a diagnosis of liver disease to regularly attend for cancer screening. There are many things that make this difficult for people, particularly if they are homeless or vulnerable.

The researchers plan to set up a new service to help them attend the six-monthly screening. They will pair a supporter (someone with previous experience of liver disease) with a patient (someone who needs to attend for six monthly scans.)

The researchers would like your help

Can you suggest an innovative and appropriate title for this new role (the supporter)?

Please send your suggestion via email to: research@britishlivertrust.org.uk by the end of this week.

Thank you 🙏

Once suggestions are in, there will be a poll asking members of the forum to vote for their favourite.
