Liver Results - Noone can tell me whats normal
Hi All, I'm generally very healthy (lots of exercise) although since I was approx 23 (I'm now 57) my GGT levels have been elevated to between 58-88. This concerned me a little (didn't really concern my Doc) although my ALT's & AST's have always been within normal range. I do drink quite a bit...but

Diagnosed with Non Alcohol Cirrhosis
Hi everyone, I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 non alcoholic cirrhosis and am having a lot trouble accepting my diagnosis. It could be because my dad died of alcohol cirrhosis 21 years ago and I know how bad it can get. I have very few symptoms right now and am just being monitored. I know my prognosis

Fib-4 score 0.66
Hello Everyone, please advise if fib-4 score is same as fibro scan score. Mine is 0.66 or 1 32. I am worried sick about it. It says the score is intermediate. I think I have terry nails, itching and dull pain. Is this mean that I have advanced cirrhosis? My blood test are normal.

Fatty Liver with Gall Bladder removal?
I didn’t know this until 1 year after my removal so I wonder if this had anything to do with my

. Anyone else have this experience?

Diet suitable for NAFLD cirrhosis and type 2 diabetics.
Hi, I have been diagnosed with cirrhosis through NAFLD. I have no idea what diet or where to find a diet suitable to follow. Being type 2 doesn't help either. Need carbs for liver, carbs no good for diabetics. Fats such as butter bad for my liver, what should I spread on bread? etc. What should I eat

Autoimmune question
However, I do have
fatty
liver
. After consulting several “specialists” to help with the problems I’ve been having these last few years, my primary care is the first to actually take me seriously and ordered some blood tests to check a few things out.

Questions
I never trusted my US scan result of "
fatty
liver
" because I was experiencing a wide range of cosmetic and physical symptoms, and since I wasn't showing serious late stage symptoms doctor didn't take me seriously.

Hello there. I was wondering if anyone had any experiences or knowledge over what I’m going through right now. Recently I had my blood test done. My ALT,AST, and alkaline phosphates came out super high (131, 89, 146) respectfully. I was struggling with a really bad flu at the time of these tests. Could

Terrys nails
hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone with PBC has experience with Terrys nails? I have it on 5 of my finger nails (2 on one hand and 3 on another). My liver bloods are normal just now except for GGT (112) and my last fibroscan was 5.7 with CAP score of 233. Both AMA and ANA positive but my hepatoligist

Finally, we may have found the smoking gun.
Still, NASH was a surprise, as Magaret was a nondrinker, not obese, and had no health conditions that would even be considered for

I was just diagnosed F3 with NAFLD but all blood tests normal what now?
US showed
fatty
liver
and possible beginning cirrhosis. Elastography revealed F3, they did not give CAP score. My doctor says that being obese could make the elastography inaccurate. My fibrosis test showed F0. What do I believe and what follow up do I need?
