Hello all! For the past 3+ years, any time I’ve had an abdominal scan, X-ray or ultrasound, I’ve been told I have cirrhosis. I follow up with a hepatologist/internal medicine doc. They do a fibroscan and have always said I do not have cirrhosis. However, I do have fatty liver.
After consulting several “specialists” to help with the problems I’ve been having these last few years, my primary care is the first to actually take me seriously and ordered some blood tests to check a few things out. One of those tests has revealed a result that would suggest autoimmune hepatitis (which would explain lots of things). I have NOT been diagnosed with that (yet), but my question is - has anyone else experienced anything like that? My liver enzymes have always been in range. My last Fibroscan had an increase in the CAP score, but a decrease in kPi. Other tests to check for hepatitis have been negative. Thoughts?
