You're not normal .... well none of us are ....
There's no such thing as "normal" ... well not for me anyway ... ok hear me out š Normal range is not "normal" it is the point that your medical practitioner wouldn't immediately consider that the problem, or they wouldn't immediately consider you to be medicated for a condition. ... it doesn't mean

Hi, I was taking T3 over the counter which improved my symptoms substantially. I then had a heart attack late January and was told it was down to the T3 which Iām not convinced of. So I want to go down the road of talking to a doctor who knows what theyāre talking about with T3. Iām full time disabled

Diabetes and Prednisolone
Hi, just enquiring about the use of Prednisolone and its affect on diabeties. I have been a type 2 diabetic since 2016. For the first four years I managed to control it by diet only but since I was diagnosed with PMR in August 2020 my diabetes has got worse year on year. I was initially put on Metformin

Statins and prednisolone
I have been on prednisolone for nearly two years, starting on 15 mg, now down to 6mg. Previously tapering at 0.5 mg every 6 weeks, more recently tapering at 0.5 mg at 8 week intervals. Now wondering whether to extend that interval further, after having had a bad flare. Following a recent diagnosis

Hi.I have been taking Thyroxine 100mg for years fairly successfully. When I picked up my last prescription, the box was still coloured orange & looked the same but wider. The tablets composition had changed - were larger & harder to digest. Since I have been taking this batch I have had terrible hot

hi Having issues with palpitations and feeling rough. Think itās time I asked for a referral to the Endocrinologist. Been on thyroxine for a number of years, docs said too much Levothyroxine so needed to reduce from 150mg to 125 mg. Due to weight loss. Since Iāve started with the palpitations,

Ferritin and depression anxiety!
Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the link between low ferritin and depression and anxiety! It seems I have had my thyroid levels optimal for a while nowā¦ me being me thought that because I had raise my ferritin from 40 to 80 that it would stay there with a measly maintenance dose of 20mg

Any suggestions please.
Hello. I wonder if you would be kind enough to give me your views on my latest results please. I currently take 100mcg thyroxine at bedtime. My GP withdrew my T3 ( 5mcg) around 5 years ago. Apparently it doesn't work and was too expensive. I feel dreadful. I'm underweight with a BMI of 18 and on top
