I have been taking liquid levothyroxine 5ml once a day , also 10mg of T3.
I have run out of T3 for a couple of days, would someone say how much more thyroxine , I would need to take please?

An impossible question!
Assuming you take T3 because T4 alone doesn't do what is needed, then any simple equivalence goes out of the window. (Though it is not so simple even without that.)
And 5ml is NOT a T4 dose. It is a measure of liquid which contains your T4 dose. You might have any of several products ranging from 25 through 50, 75, 100 to 125 micrograms per 5 ml.
You might guess sufficient liquid to supply three or four times the 10 micrograms of T3. That is, 30 or 40 micrograms of T4.
I try to explain some of the difficulties in this document.
helvella - How much more potent is T3?
A discussion about the relative potency of T4 and T3.
Hello Bev, hope you are doing ok, and “cooking on gas” x
My goodness Bev, that all sounds terrible. Am sending you a private message.
I don’t think you should increase T4 levo if you’ve run out out T3 for a couple of days. T4 has a long half life and T3 a short half life. You might have enough T3 in you to last a couple of days maximum. Just carry on with T4 as usual and get those T3 tablets you’re waiting on as quick as possible I’d say. I’ve never ran out of my T3 or T4 supply, always ensure you have at least a months supply as your safety stock.
