Can anybody share experience with Xeljanz? My doctor wants me to try it seeing Enbrel isn't working as well as he would like?

RA & Lupus - can anyone relate?
Hello, I've never been on one of these groups, or posted anything. However, I got my nerve up & thought I'd join to see if I can learn from others & share some of my experiences. I was diagnosed 22 yrs ago with RA. I've had remissions within those yrs which I'm so grateful for; but that was long ago

RA and Dirviticulitis
Have been taking Benepali for two weeks since I was taken off of Enbrel. WithThis new Benepali injection, i have developed a headache a cough and a runny nose. My RA nurse said I should stick it out as it will improve. I also have diverticulitis which makes me sensitive to some medication and food so

Infected Tooth. Best Path Forward?
Hello. After years of dentists and doctors dismissing my suspicions of a possible tooth infection, as usual my gut feeling was proven correct. Just today, it was confirmed by an endodontis that a root canal I had done many years ago is definitely infected. Which naturally leads me to wonder if this infection

Enbrel helps me!
I have been on Enbrel for over 12 years. It has helped me more than any medication I have taken for RA. I do take it in my leg. It does hurt some but worth the pain to be mobile again. I've never had stomach problems taking Enbrel. Make sure your stomach ailments are not from something else going

Plauquenil and Enbrel spells trouble?
I’ve been on plaquenil for 12 months. 5 weeks ago I started Enbrel. I’ve had nausea and a irritable colon since I started. After my injection (evening) I wake up with intense nausea and multiple urgent trips to the bathroom. Anyone else had this and does anything help? The Enbrel is helping so I need

Will any medication ever help ?
This is my 4th biologic (Orencia) and getting ready to start on my 3rd DMARD (Sulfasalazine). I have been on Methotrexate, Enbrel, Cimzia, Leflunomide and Actemra. Nothing has helped. Last 2 days I can hardly walk because of the pain in my hip. RA is a nasty thing. All i want to do is cry from this

9 months on MTX, 5 months on Enbrel. Nothing is working.
Since doctors can't seem to heal me, I'm back asking for advice here in the forum. I'm basically trying to figure out what's next for me. It's now been 9 months on MTX and 5 months on Enbrel. I feel worse than ever. Extreme all-over pain, upset stomach, depression, anxiety, etc. A brief history of my

anti tnf and biologics
When I first went on anti tnf I was very frightened as I had read literature about the side effects, I made an appointment with rheumy nurse and she said that the chance of getting the serious side effects were akin to walking out of the hospital and being struck by lightning, they have to tell you about

Hi all, Hope your all doing as well as can be expected. So the cotton mouth 🐯 I posted before about how after falling asleep sometimes(once a week ish)I have woken up with an extremely dry throat. It's so dry it can tickle and cause me to sneeze or I have to keep swallowing until it comes back to normal

Biologic Question
Hello, hoping one of our fellow members who is knowledgable in biologics can answer my question. Enbrel only treats RA Remicade treat both RA and Crohns Why? They are both TNF blockers and both work the same way. Is it just that Enbrel wasn’t specifically tested on Crohns? Is Remicade a more powerful

Enbrel & Appetite Loss
Hello all:) I've done 4 weekly injections of Enbrel so far and while I believe it is starting to kick in, I'm definitely experiencing a loss of appetite and mild nausea. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for me, just wondering if anyone else has had this experience? Wishing all a pain free day:) Maddi
