Plauquenil and Enbrel spells trouble?

I’ve been on plaquenil for 12 months. 5 weeks ago I started Enbrel. I’ve had nausea and a irritable colon since I started. After my injection (evening) I wake up with intense nausea and multiple urgent trips to the bathroom. Anyone else had this and does anything help?

The Enbrel is helping so I need to control this, help!

If in doubt contact your rheumy before you stop this medication. It could take up to three months for the drug starts to really work and hopefully the side effects will go. Though if your at all worried contact your rheumy or dr.xx

Have never heard of plaque il. Enbrel for over five years. Amazing improvement after only 3 days. No side effects. Can only do tummy because leg injections are really painful. I would tell the doctor about side effects. Everyone’s different so there may be something else you can take. Don’t put up with side effects it’s your body telling you something is not right so get help. I really wish you luck this illness is so awful. But I take heart with the fact that very clever people are working on it. Look what they have done with so many other conditions recently. Take care. Regards
