Progesterone withdrawal
I got a BFN yesterday after a medicated FET so have now stopped all medication. I’m feeling a bit weird, headachy etc. has anyone else experienced withdrawals after suddenly stopping progesterone and oestrogen? I was on two Lubion shots, two crinone gels and five progynova tablets a day.

Estrogens and Castrate/Treatment Resistance?
Has anyone using estrogens (estradiol) as the primary agent of ADT (androgen deprivation therapy) had their prostate cancer become resistant (androgen independent) to the treatment? Getting worse
I have been on gabapentin for several years and this was just beginning to be less effective when I had a hip replacement. My rls got very bad and my gp added in ropinerole 1mg which I take at 8.30pm. This means a great night but increasingly I am having symptoms in the afternoon and evening. Any advice

My gyno won't prescribe estrogen patch for hot flashes ...what can I do for hot flashes?
What am I supposed to do for these hot flashes since I am not allowed to have the estrogen patch? Does anyone know of anything that I can buy over the counter that will work for hot flashes?

Worried
I am feeling very depressed and worried that something else is going on with my heart other than my usual micro vascular angina. I kept on taking the Hrt despite it giving me significant chest pain every time I took it. I thought I would push through it and that it would get better as it was only applied

Oestrogen dominance & poor T3 conversion
I’m interested to get any information on oestrogen dominance and it’s impacts on thyroid especially with the conversion of T4 into T3 thyroid hormone, which leads to low T3 levels.

Heart failure
Hi everyone. I went into heart failure directly after having the Pfizer jab. Turned out I had undiagnosed scarlet fever as a child. Had a mitral valve replacement as a result. Is anyone else struggling to come to terms with what has happened to them?

I currently take Belbuca for RLS. I have taken Mirapex and Rotigotine with horrible augmentation symptoms upon stopping. I have also taken Gabapentin with terrible side effects. I also have tried several opioids in the past. I have taken Belbuca for the past several years. I am facing hip replacement

New blood results from Thriva.
I have had an increase in weight of 4kg, from 60kg to 64kg, during a period of 2 months. I am struggling to lose weight. I decided to have my blood tested to see if my thyroid is being properly managed. I have had an increase in weight and have constant fatigue. Can someone help me decipher the results

Has anyone here gotten weight restored on their own without going to a nutritionist or eating disorder center?
I have anorexia nervosa and I have been to several treatment centers and seen several nutritionists in my life. They have never helped me as far as yes they help me gain the weight but then I don't end up getting my mind changed any even with all the psychotherapy so it ends up doing me no good. What

lactose intolerance and vaginal oestrogen Vagirux?
Hi I’m awaiting a genetics decision on whether I can try HRT (again). Long story. In the meantime the most uncomfortable symptom is vaginal dryness. So my GP menopause specialist has prescribed Vagirux. I’m lactose intolerant, tried 1 tablet last night and was fine first thing this morning. I have

Hi all I had my surgery on the 30th of March, where they found four bits of endo. I did have stomach pains in my first month, but then I had an infection. From the second month after my surgery, I had stomach pains again, although it was at a lower intensity and frequency. Over the last couple of

Impact on microvascular angina of hormone changes during menstrual cycle (peri-menopause)
Hello, Looking at my diary across the past three months (not very long I know!) I'm noticing a higher incidence of angina in the middle of my cycle. I'm interested to know if anyone else has noticed this and if you think it's down to a drop in oestrogen after ovulation directly impacting the vascular

Mechanical valve
Thanks for your replies! You are correct, I think I got my terminology wrong, sorry. I will have a mechanical valve not a biological valve, thus the need for warfarin. I was also hoping to use the self testing kit for warfarin, as we spend much time in Africa, which could be rather tricky. Good to

How does synthetic t4 convert to the active t3 after a thyroidectomy?
Is it the same place & way if one still has their thyroid? Ie. When you all note that hormones given replace the thyroid, not top it up if the thyroid is still in place, does it then not matter if one has a thyroid for this mechanism? (Not discussing taking anyone's thyroid without obvious dire need
