UTIs and Vaginal Atrophy
I'm wary of taking the vaginal
estriol
because of the various risks plus I'm taking quite a lot of other medication. I have high blood pressure which I'm struggling to control. I'd be grateful for people's ideas.

diagnosed yesterday with Cystoce
in the meantime he wants me to have a scan to check the condition of my ovaries, womb etc but also to use a oestrogen cream
Estriol
which I guess is a HRT . I went through the menopause about 8-10 years ago as hadn’t really noticed the process.

Any advice welcome
Does anyone have advice on the use of
estriol
cream for vaginal atrophy. Also whilst seeing the urologists they have advised that I should not worry about the fact that I have both maternal and paternal grandmothers and maternal aunts who had breast cancer.

Rectocele anyone?
I'm using
estriol
cream for vaginal health, but I started forgetting to use it and then ran out so wasn't getting the most out of it. I think it has weakened my vaginal wall and made the rectocele worse. To make matters worse, I also have a yeast and bladder infection.

Nails!
I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 %
estriol
cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was assured that it would not be a systemic uptake, unlike oral route?

Interesting article!
Yesterday I read that a hormone called
estriol
helps repair the myelin. Is anyone taking this and has it helped? Leslie

Pelvic pain with blood/brown discharge
I also use
Estriol
0.1% cream and Vagirux 10microgram vaginal tablets twice a week. I will sometimes have a few days when it doesn't happen but then it comes back. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern. Does anyone else experience this and provide any advice. Thank you.

Building Bones and Shrinking Moobs
Started transdermal estradiol (0.0375 mg) in November 2023 to counter negative effects of ADT (relugolix and abiraterone) on bone density. Increased the estradiol to 0.075 mg in January 2024 which accelerated my gynecomastia. I asked my MO about using transdermal tamoxifen along with the estradiol to

Fet ultrasounds and checkup?
Hi ladies I've started my period abd alerted my clinic to prep for my last transfer that is a 3 day blast. I started estradiol 2/day (6mg) and am also doing an immune protocol with 10mg prednisone and 150mg baby aspirin. They advised me to come in for an ultrasound at cd14 to check lining but that

Ready to trigger but blood markers a concern
Edit just in case anyone has the same and comes across this post:
In the afternoon the nurse called to say my blood markers are looking a lot better. Oestradiol now at over 4000 (up from 2000) and LH looking better. This is the second time I've found myself spiralling over something that then

Just a quick update, Endo appointment 👿
went to Royal Liverpool Endo dept , was hoping to see the consultant who is on TUK Uk list. Unfortunately this did not happen, the person I saw was less than helpful, see I can be tactful, sometimes. Introduced herself as diabetes consultant and she lived up to that name. The first thing she said
