so conclusion for use of HRT Now to decide definitely on the vagifem pessary or estriol cream, favouring the cream if I'm honest. just want it sorted !!

Hi , I'm uk I've been on estriol cream for 5 days now. It maybe coincidence but I've started with bloating some pressure rectum constipation. I do have ibs c so perhaps it is coincidence. Just to add my issues are penetration only no other pelvic pain issues.

Phone call from GP today to say that a further prescription of Estriol cream has been issued.

Sorry, probably not the correct community, but to update, it would seem from the cystoscopy from which the consultant diagnosed as above, and the use of the estriol cream that things are improving.

I'm wary of taking the vaginal estriol because of the various risks plus I'm taking quite a lot of other medication. I have high blood pressure which I'm struggling to control. I'd be grateful for people's ideas.

I take estriol cream, and I take solifenacin for over active bladder although not sure that I have that as I was diagnosed over the phone during covid. Off and on I’ve had it 4 years. Can anyone help with this or has anyone experienced the same thing? Many Thanks.

I have seen my GP today and she is suggesting that I might try vagifem as pessary or Estriol cream due to very sore and dry vagina with symptoms of recurrent UTI's, periodically very small traces of blood in the urine.

in with the applicator when i wiped i had the same pink discharge with a very small streak of blood the pink was more this time went to the hospital was examined by the gynaecological doctor who could not see anything wrong she throught I might of caught the side with the applicator she has given me Estriol

I have been taking vaginal estriol for two and a half weeks now but I can't imagine that this has any bearing.

Does anyone have advice on the use of estriol cream for vaginal atrophy. Also whilst seeing the urologists they have advised that I should not worry about the fact that I have both maternal and paternal grandmothers and maternal aunts who had breast cancer.

in the meantime he wants me to have a scan to check the condition of my ovaries, womb etc but also to use a oestrogen cream Estriol which I guess is a HRT . I went through the menopause about 8-10 years ago as hadn’t really noticed the process.

Estriol cream, not using the pessary now, internally for the next four weeks and then down to twice weekly. the nightly nutrofurantoin antibiotic low dose 50mg. to keep uti's at bay and fluconazole once a week to keep thrush at bay.

I'm using estriol cream for vaginal health, but I started forgetting to use it and then ran out so wasn't getting the most out of it. I think it has weakened my vaginal wall and made the rectocele worse. To make matters worse, I also have a yeast and bladder infection.

I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 % estriol cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was assured that it would not be a systemic uptake, unlike oral route?

Have been prescribed Estriol Cream to apply daily for 2-3 weeks, then reduce to twice weekly. Am going to start this today, any advice on using to applicator would be appreciated.

These came through today. Tests were Thursday 7/11. 8.30am. Water only before test. T4 taken 23 hours before and T3 taken 15 hours before test. I take 25mcg T4 Levo and 2 x 10mcg liothyronine per day. I have an intolerance to Levo. First dose was 100mcg and I had suspected heart attack - ischaemic

Is there a way to thicken your lining ?? 🤷‍♀️ Scan today ( 10 days on estradiol )and lining too thin 5.6 mmm so need to move transfer 😢 Have another scan Monday to check but is there anything that helps 😩😩😩

I received an email from my surgery tonight from my registered GP (who I do not see anymore) sent by an "admin" Dr advises the results are not the normal ranges for NHS so difficult to interpret, advise to contact medichecks for interpretation, iron at 9.3 (10-30) difficult to interpret???
