Vaginal atrophy and estriol, caruncle ?

Sorry, probably not the correct community, but to update, it would seem from the cystoscopy from which the consultant diagnosed as above, and the use of the estriol cream that things are improving.

Certainly I am getting used to using the application which to begin with was a little uncomfortable, however perseverance seems to be paying off and I am generally much less sore, apart from itching which seems to be continuous. The GP has said to carry on with daily treatment for the next 2 weeks and then drop down to twice weekly with review in 3 months.

I am still not certain about the caruncle ? Diagnosed during the examination so anyone with experience of this, eg. is it worrying, or as seems to be on reading up NHS sites not uncommon and linked with vaginal atrophy. ?

I am treating this topically with the cream again as this seems to be the recommendation from the NHS site.

If this could be shared with other community if appropriate then yes please.

As always your comments or experience would be greatly appreciated.

thank you
