Estriol should be given the same days of the menstrual cycle or month as the
estradiol
gel. Never give estriol alone as one study showed that it may highly increase the risk of endometrial cancer if no progesterone is supplied.

Worried won't ever get to egg collection.
Day 5 of stimms and oestradiol is 2500. Have scan in the morning but so worried I'm gonna over-stimulate and this cycle will be cancelled. Had last cycle cancelled as oestradiol only went to 150 after being on 150 of Gonal F, now on 300 of Gonal F. Has anyone else had high oestradiol this early on and

Green tea and quercetin may sensitize PCa to docetaxel
It is a natural aromatase inhibitor, & the bodybuilder sites are all interested in that, since inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to
estradiol
might increase T levels. The problem with chrysin is that so much of it is metabolized by the liver in the 'first pass'.

I have Hashimoto's and have been under a doc in oz that I trusted and she seems to get me moving in the right direction but would

Propolis - CAPE
This is the reason I inhibit aromatase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to
estradiol
[E2]. PCa cells produce aromatase. {I aim for E2 to be ~20 pg/mL; certainly no lower than 12 (for bone health) & no higher than 30 (for cardiovascular health.)}

Hello, new to list but not to PCA
Added
Estradiol
patch 0.225 mg weekly, April 2013 to control hot flashes. (Avoid sleep disturbance) PSA rises are very slow. Currently 1.1 and doubling time is about 12 months so no change in therapy yet, though will discuss a new drug next month.

Surgical menopause
I feel dry and itchy down there already and I'm using
estradiol
patches so what it will be like with intimacy is really playing on my mind.

Hypo, prostate, estradiol, testosterone, shbg
Now I see that my
estradiol
and Shbg are higher than normal. Few months ago, the total testosterone was also slightly over the top. The urologist said nothing to worry (PSA was low). I understand that women with high estrogen use progesterone to lower it, but what about men?

Almost there
So so so! After overstimulating last week and ending up with 32 follicles and a close wave to my cycle being terminated or at least delayed weeks and moving from fresh to frozen. A last minute miracle happened and my oestradiol was back in order. Monday I had my egg collection, still being taunted by

Pregnant with tsh 17
Apparently the
estradiol
interfered with the euthyrox! It seems to be a common problem but nobody told me!!! It would have been necessary to monitor tsh right from the start of the ivf treatment.

Good endo - still gobsmacked
I've just got back from my first appointment with the endocrinologist and am still a little shocked about his extremely helpful and co-operative attitude. He listened to everything, made lots of notes, examined me and has now ordered a raft of tests, including TSH, FT4, cortisol, U&Es, Vitamin D, prolactin

I had the results of my sex hormone tests. The ranges for progesterone and oestradiol are missing. The GP did not know them neither did the receptionist. I rang the lab and they would not give them to me ( matter of national security it seems! ) Does anyone know the ranges for the Coventry hospital

Does T3 make you sweat and does High Progesterone make you sleepy
Hi, I wondered if anyone has bad sweats when taking T3, I increased my T3 this year to 27.5mcg split dose, but I've been having really bad sweats at night and in the day. I am in menopause, but these sweats are far worse then I've experienced before. I did run out of my patches for a very short while
