Menopur 300 iu (AMH 17.5) - not sure if the dose is too high for me??? (my first IVF)
Dear ladies, Anyone with similar levels being put on Menopur 300 iu on long protocol IVF? AMH 17.5 FSH 8.1 (CD3) LH 6 (on CD3) Oestradiol 196 (on CD3) Antral follicle count: about 4-6 follicles each ovary (on CD4) (I've just turned 40 in June this year.) I've been wondering if my Menopur dose is too

Newly diagnosed with Hypothyroid and antibodies in blood
Hi everyone, I've been reading a lot of your posts and finding out some really interesting information to learn about this condition. I know one of the main things you ask to understand someone's diagnosis is their readings, so this is what I have so far from my doc (I was diagnosed in May this year

Hi All Really am at the end of my tether with a disinterested GP and a seemingly clueless endo. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 3 years ago after a battle with my GP over my TSH result which was nearing 6. I felt awful, was experiencing many symptoms to include a feeling like wading through mud,

Diagnosed with Hashimoto Thyroiditis - Advice Needed from all you knowledgeable people !!
(Other hormones like FSH, LH, Free Test, SHBG,
Estradiol
, Total Test, Prolactin etc are totally Normal). Endocrinologist also performed a thyroid ultrasound following the results and said that my glands look "TIRED" (no other abnormality was found apart from that).

My First Post - GUIDANCE desperately needed please... 34yrs Female, Seeking interpretation of blood test results. How do i get a diagnosis?
hi, i would greatly appreciate any insight & guidance into reading my blood results. (due to the absolute confusion that is my previously diagnosed medical health history!.. i thought if i list my recent yrs results for interpretation it might be best as a previous diagnosis of Polycythemia Rubra Vera

the phase II BATMAN study.
I was already on Arimidex to control
estradiol
. Along the way Androderm reduced the maximum dose to 4 mg. As of 1/1/2015 my insurance would not pay for Androderm, so I switched to testosterone cypionate - 80 mg injected every 7 days.

My ongoing mystery health problem
My blood tests are back...the only values which are off are oestradiol, which is LOW, and a few other things which having looked them up would point to a problem with my liver, though my liver came back "normal" (apparently nothing much happens until you have actual liver failure though!). My doctor

Transdermal Estrogen Versus Lupron
He has previously spoken about very low dose
estradiol
[E2] (when on Lupron) for preserving bone health. Here he is speaking of high E2 doses to suppress testosterone [T].

Transdermal Estrogen + ADT {was Zometa}
Very timely, considering my mention of
estradiol
[E2] patches as an alternative to Zometa for ADT-related osteoporosis. I was a bit cautious in the Zometa post, because I'm not aware of a study that showed that an
estradiol
patch could eliminate the risk of osteoporosis while on ADT.

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Apigenin
This is an enzyme involved in the "interconversion of DHEA and androstenediol, androstenedione and testosterone, and estrone and
estradiol
, respectively" (Wiki) Apigenin might therefore be a useful androgen inhibitor. [2] (2015 - Cleveland, US) The cause of the creation of pro-cancer inflammatory metabolites

Last try, long protocol whatever that means?! 😁
Apparently the first try that for cancelled due to a massive
estradiol
surge to over 7000 was long protocol, the next 2 antagonistic. I have no idea what the difference it benefits are?!

Sex steroid induced apoptosis as a rational strategy to treat anti-hormone resistant breast and prostate cancer.
& without Arimidex (a drug that suppresses the conversion of T to
estradiol
), some of those men would be estrogen-dominant. Restoration should have aimed for T~600 ng/dL IMO.

Hormonal changes after localized PCa treatment.
