Building Bones and Shrinking Moobs
Started transdermal
estradiol
(0.0375 mg) in November 2023 to counter negative effects of ADT (relugolix and abiraterone) on bone density. Increased the
estradiol
to 0.075 mg in January 2024 which accelerated my gynecomastia.

Does anyone have any experience with
estradiol

estradiol cream
I know this was discussed 8 years ago but has it changed for the better regarding reducing the ADT SE? I am on ADT for 2 + years and going on Xtandti this month. I want to control the SE as best I can. Great diet and heavy exercise every day. Also stopped the Vit Cal & D.

pcos or perimenopause. Pleaseee help me.
My
estradiol
level is low. I don’t understand anything anymore. Have I officially entered perimenopause, or is this problem caused by PCOS? I can’t figure out if the long menstruations are due to a lack of
estradiol
or progesterone.

Estrogens and Castrate/Treatment Resistance?
Has anyone using estrogens (
estradiol
) as the primary agent of ADT (androgen deprivation therapy) had their prostate cancer become resistant (androgen independent) to the treatment?

Estradiol level before frozen transfer
Hi there My
estradiol
level before starting poi today is 1000. Is it too high for a frozen transfer? I’ve read somewhere that more than 500 would negatively affect implantation. My doctor isn’t concerned about it but I need some reassurance please 🙏🏻

Location of Estrogen Patches matters.
Overall, the average serum
estradiol
concentration is
3-4 times
higher for scrotal application, compared to forearm application. This is particularly relevant to estrogen users who use gel, cream, or spray products. Ref: transfemscience.org

Fet ultrasounds and checkup?
I started
estradiol
2/day (6mg) and am also doing an immune protocol with 10mg prednisone and 150mg baby aspirin. They advised me to come in for an ultrasound at cd14 to check lining but that seems late...especially bc my cycles have been shorter lately. Should I be going in earlier?

Estradiol, QoL and inflammation
Did
estradiol
play a role? I obviously want to avoid endangering the course of treatment. As a high CRP can only lead to nasty consequences, I hope to be able to rule out a possible role of
estradiol
(and then find the real cause) before moving further down that road.

Vaginal Tablets Estradiol
I've been prescribed vaginal
estradiol
tablets to help with vaginal dryness (Vagifem) but a bit worried that they may trigger endo if estrogen is being put directly where endo grew last time. Does anyone know if it's ok to use? I guess it's about weighing up the risks with the benefits.. Sarah

How many Estrogen Patches to use?
Here's a plot of the
Estradiol
serum concentration (pg/mL) as a function of total dose (micrograms) of estrogen patches over 1 week. The plot tells the number of patches and how often to change them. The three data points fall nicely on a straight line, which makes good sense.
