Just began taking hrt in Oct. 53 years old, hysterectomy 6 years ago. First Dr. put me on divigel, said I did not need progesterone since I do not have a uterus. 2nd Dr. prescribed Bioidentical hormone cream with estrogen and progesterone cream. After blood tests came back, he felt I wasn't absorbing

Natural killer cells suppress enzalutamide resistance and cell invasion in CRPC via targeting ARv7.
New study below [1]. "Despite the success of androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) with the newly developed anti-androgen enzalutamide (Enz, also known as MDV3100) to suppress castration resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) in extending patient survival by an extra 4.8 months ..." Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cruciferous Phytochemicals - [3] 3,3'-Diindolylmethane [DIM]
DIM (3,3'-Diindolylmethane) is thought to be the most important phytochemical found in broccoli. [1] Estrogen Metabolism. Some may think it odd to begin with estrogen. Much of the DIM literature relates to its effect on estrogen metabolism, & this is of major interest to women with hormonal cancer,

New diagnosis, not seeing results - is this normal?
I am a 5'8", 198 pound, 48 year old female. I went to a doctor with the following symptoms: hot flashes, dry skin, fatigue, severe brain fog, constipation (bowel movement once every 4-5 days), hair falls out by the handful in the shower, and I have always struggled with my weight (the only way to lose

Dr. Edward Friedman - The Man Who Claims PCa is Caused by Estradiol
I read his book and he states that the aromatization of testosterone into estradiol causes PCa. He bases some of his conclusions on Lebowitz Triple Androgen Blockade..if you combine the theories of Friedman...Leibowitz...BAT...a protocol to control PCa and prevent CRPC would be: 12 months of Lupron +

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Estrogen [2] - Discovery of ERbeta.
In my earlier post, I argued that estradiol [E2] & testosterone [T] seem to pull in different directions, & that an E2:T imbalance in men has been noted in a number of diseases. [1] Estrogen Receptors. The importance of the androgen receptor [AR] in PCa therapy is well known. We try to starve it of

New here & newly diagnosed with hypothyroid
Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and am newly diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, even tho my TSH levels were only at a 5.10 (not sure if being a redhead makes me more sensitive to the symptoms, as I've heard it is possible) but my Dr. put me on 25mcg of Levothyroxine. I have also been prescribed 40mg

Hormone blood tests
I am thinking of getting a blood test for hormones but the ones I have found do not include progesterone, would this be an issue or does anyone know of a place offers this, preferably a finger-prick test. Medichecks only seem to test FSH, LS, Oestradiol and Prolactin. My breasts have become swollen
