CD2 BLOOD RESULTS- FSH, LH, OESTRADIOL

Hi all.

I`ve just had my latest CD2 blood back but i`ve been searching the internet to interpret the results, the FSH score i can understand but the other two are confusing, does anyone have a link?

FSH 17.4 (not great i know for age 46

LH 11.5

OESTRADIOL 133

Hi webchick. The LH and oestradiol are within normal limits, but with an FSH of 17.4 it will prove very difficult to stimulate your ovaries if you are considering IVF. I would imagine that your consultant would probably steer you towards using an egg donor, but you will have to talk it over thoroughly with him/her. I wish you well with whatever is decided, and a way forward found. Diane
