Medication
I got told last week I have endometriosis even though I haven't had MRI . He's prescribed tablets called Dienogest which I haven't got yet due to hospital pharmacy not having any in stock. Has anyone else had these tablets as I spoke to another gynaecologist that said the side effects are quite bad and

Dienogest/Zalkya
I have started taking Zalkya and have immediately started having hot flushes, nausea and stomach pain. I’m feeling really wiped out and have all over body aches and headache. Has anyone else suffered these side effects and did they go away? Has anyone noticed an improvement in their symptoms on Zalkya

Dienogest?
I've finally seen a specialist and he's told me I haven't got deep infiltrating endo as it's not showing up on scans but I could have mild so has put me onto the list for surgery (which is a relief) but he also wants me to start dienogest. I've never mentally reacted well to birth control but was willing

Banging my head against a brick wall!
First, let me start by saying I've being reading post after post and this forum seems very well informed, helpful and respectful. My wife and I have been looking for answers to her health condition, which I believe, is Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism, for nearly 10 years! I've taken on the role of researching

A little advice on latest test results
Hello all, you have all been incredibly kind and helpful in the past.. and I wondered if I could pick your brains again about my latest test results.. I have been following Ray Peat’s ‘non diet’ diet, and I’m wondering if actually it’s not working for me. To me I can see that my estrogen is at the lower

Cancelled cycle due to bad response
Hello everyone, I am posting this for a Friend who is in need of experiences and feedback on her situation. Her cycle was cancelled because her oocytes (eggs) did not grow during stimulation. She has looked into various causes (her amh is good) and thinks that it is due to deficiency in estrogen. She

T3 affecting sex hormones
Hi, I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid earlier this year. I am currently taking 25mg T4 (50mg caused significant bloating) and 30mg T3 as split doses. I'm on a high dose of adrenal support as my Cortisol & DHEA were shown to be very low in a Dutch test earlier this year. Since starting T3

Building Bones and Shrinking Moobs
Started transdermal estradiol (0.0375 mg) in November 2023 to counter negative effects of ADT (relugolix and abiraterone) on bone density. Increased the estradiol to 0.075 mg in January 2024 which accelerated my gynecomastia. I asked my MO about using transdermal tamoxifen along with the estradiol to

Fet ultrasounds and checkup?
Hi ladies I've started my period abd alerted my clinic to prep for my last transfer that is a 3 day blast. I started estradiol 2/day (6mg) and am also doing an immune protocol with 10mg prednisone and 150mg baby aspirin. They advised me to come in for an ultrasound at cd14 to check lining but that

Ready to trigger but blood markers a concern
Edit just in case anyone has the same and comes across this post:
In the afternoon the nurse called to say my blood markers are looking a lot better. Oestradiol now at over 4000 (up from 2000) and LH looking better. This is the second time I've found myself spiralling over something that then

Dimetrum (Dienogest) experience
Hi all, just sharing my experience to see if anyone has had anything similar. I was diagnosed with Endo a few years ago and am finally booked in for surgery on the 5th of Feb. In the meantime I was prescribed Dienogest 2mg, as the surgeon said it can help with pain and also help reduce the endo tissue

Estrogens and Castrate/Treatment Resistance?
Has anyone using estrogens (estradiol) as the primary agent of ADT (androgen deprivation therapy) had their prostate cancer become resistant (androgen independent) to the treatment? Just a quick update, Endo appointment 👿
went to Royal Liverpool Endo dept , was hoping to see the consultant who is on TUK Uk list. Unfortunately this did not happen, the person I saw was less than helpful, see I can be tactful, sometimes. Introduced herself as diabetes consultant and she lived up to that name. The first thing she said
