Dienogest/Zalkya

I have started taking Zalkya and have immediately started having hot flushes, nausea and stomach pain. I’m feeling really wiped out and have all over body aches and headache. Has anyone else suffered these side effects and did they go away? Has anyone noticed an improvement in their symptoms on Zalkya? I have just had the induced menopause recently and although it helped I still got some pelvic pain so it didn’t help with my symptoms completely.

Sorry you're suffering. I haven't had this medication but I was looking into it as its been suggested. How are you feeling now? Has the side effects subsided?

The side affects aren’t as bad now but I can’t say yet that it is helping with the endo pains. I keep getting pelvic pain on and off so I will just have to give it a bit longer and see what happens.

Hi, have just started taking this med, and have all those symptoms… plus an endless period… just wondering how did you get on over time, did things improve? I very much hope so, sounds like you had a rough time.
