endoscopy via nose to check acid reflux
Today I went to hospital thinking I was having an
endoscopy
, I was told that the
endoscopy
was going to measure from my stomach to my nose so that I could come back and have another procedure done, This would be a tube going up my nose and down into my stomach, the tube from my nose would then be attached

Gastroenterology are referring me for an
endoscopy
anyway to check for varices and then I will see the consultant again to discuss both results. I’m feeling really down at the moment and have all of the below symptoms since being admitted for Alcoholic Hepatitis on May 23rd.

Another New And Completed FMT Study In 54 PwP Showing Clearly Positive Results Using Freeze Dried Oral FMT
Although this is not the Helsinki study results I was waiting for, this is a slightly larger size RCT study using freeze dried oral FMT capsules in PwP during the 12 week study. The results are positive in terms of symptom improvements and gut microbiome perturbance reductions. Here is a link to the

Does anyone have experience of having liver disease without raised LFTs or anything showing on ultrasound, CT scan or upper
endoscopy
? Can I be reassured by the medics?

why so much stool?
hello I’m posting to this forum once again as my Ibs symptoms continue to worsen. I don’t know if I’m constipated or have diarrhea but simply put, my colon is always filling up with mushy stool containing food fragments. I have 10 to 15 bowel movements every day but never get any feeling of relief

Skin allergy to hydroxocobalamin injections?
I have positive parietal cell antibodies and stomach inflammation showed on a
endoscopy
so it's autoimmune gastritis related B12 deficiency and will therefore be lifelong as with true pernicious anaemia. I went onto loading doses SI 3 x a week for 4 weeks then moved to weekly injections.

Surprise discovery of PA
So my GP started me on a battery of tests which resulted in a referral for both a gastroscopy and an
endoscopy
. Afterward, the attending physician came out and asked me if I’d ever been told I have Pernicious Anemia, which I’d never heard of.

Am waiting for urgent
endoscopy
too as I have had terrible reflux and am on extra meds for that. Not a happy bunny at the mo but at least we can have a moan on here whilst also reminding ourselves we are luck to be alive and live is usually good.

gastroscopy or endoscopy
hello, as part of early tests on my upper digestive system I’m to have a gastroscopy in the few weeks to look for damage or cancer, is a gastroscopy the same as the
endoscopy
? I will be having a colonoscopy in four weeks so quite close together.

However in January I had an

not have shown the hiatus hernia?

High Platelet Diagnosis Update….
I’ve also had an all clear colonoscopy and
endoscopy
. Other things I am diagnosed with are hypothyroidism, irritable bowel syndrome, many allergies and vitiligo. Whilst conducting her tests the Haematologist said I was Iron deficient but not to the extent that I was anaemic.
