Peeing blood
I just got done with 40 of 44 radiation treatments. Still have a Prostrate. Peeing blood after. The nurse says its because I take baby aspirin. Sounds strange after 40 treatments to start having this now. I have been taking a baby aspirin for 8 years. Did anyone else have this happen?

HELP, PLEASE??!!
I just had a total knee replacement. For 3 years now buprenorphine has helped, but today I took hydromorphone for pain that my surgeon prescribed, Nexium that my family doctor recommended to take to keep the aspirin I have to take postop to keep from getting ulcers, and cyclobenzaprine. Unfortunately

Gallbladder Removal?
Hey MPN-ers 😊 It’s recently become recommended for me to have my gallbladder removed. Not really in any pain but sporadic discomfort and upon ultrasound it was discovered my gallbladder is full of stones 🥴 I’ve been reading up on some patients side affects after and the stress it puts on the liver

Petechial rash
I have Jak2 positive ET. I was diagnosed two years ago and I take Hydroxycarbamide 500 mg daily. My blood levels settled down very well on this treatment - the platelets sitting around 400. I am also taking the blood thinner - rivaroxaban 20 mg daily - as I had already suffered blood clots. I take

Tric and aspirin
You will prob be on aspirin every day but the tric usually only a year after HA and stent. My husband was on it for a year and bled alot if he scratched or cut himself. Usually causes this but it stopped after he stopped taking it when the year was, up

Anxiety about all the immune based meds
HiIt looks like when I do an embryo transfer I will be on quite a large cocktail of medication. Recommendations for me are IVIG, steroids, clexane, asprin and intramuscular progesterone. I had an array of tests done which showed high NK cells and cytokines and an issue with the blood hence this medley

Visit to the dentist
Can anyone give me information/advice please. I am on daily aspirin and 500mg x 10 tablets weekly as I have ET. I am seeing a new dentist as my previous one retired. I have told him about my diagnosis and treatment and am due to start treatment to have crowns removed and possibly root canal work done

Anxiety and A-Fib
I had anxiety over getting a Cochlear Implant done. I was taking Atarax on top of Zyrtec which causes QT Elongation. So I was diagnosed with AFIB and sent to the ER. Prescribed Metoprolol and a 81 mg aspirin. I didn't take the Metoprolol because it was on a Recall list by the FDA for 3 months as it

Bruises
I have the same problem. Both my GP and cardiac nurse said it's nothing to worry about, quite normal whilst take clopidogrel and aspirin. GP carried out blood test, everything was normal. I think it's good for you to see your GP, they will put your mind to rest.

Viral Myocarditis
anyone had something similar? My anxiety is all over the place! I am wondering if anyone flew this close to diagnosis. 16 May I woke up with a tight shoulder, jaw, arm, couldn’t breathe, sweating, felt unable to walk. Eventually I was admitted to hospital for 2 days with abnormal BNP levels (250 -

Heart attack meds Omeprazole
Hi everyoneI had a mid heart attack 2021 and have been on Omeprazole since then, my current everyday tablets are candesartan, aspirin, rosuvastatin, Bisoprolol plus the Omeprazole. I am querying Omeprazole as is it says not for long term use on the NHS. As I am on the meds above is there a need for long

aspirin
good morning 😊 I came home yesterday after a mitral valve repair on Monday. I’ve only just read through all my discharge letters, as I was not ready to plough through it all yesterday. They explained to me I had to take aspirin every day now for the rest of my life, in the letter they say it’s for

Repurposed old drugs vs PCa
https://www.mdpi.com/2076-3271/10/1/15 The article is long and technical, but has some interesting nuggets that IMO make it worth earmarking. Eg Zolendroic Acid -- principally a bone health medicine, also has anti-cancer properties. Aspirin and many more

Heart Meds...Stomach problems...anyone else?
Hi all, I had a H/A in January which resulted in a stent being fitted. I am on several meds Asprin, Atorvastin 80mg, Clopidogrel, Lanzoprazole, Ramipril 7.5mg, Bisoprolol and recently I have suffered severe stomach pain and diarrhoea. This is happening basically once a week and I'm presuming it is

spinal injection
Hi all, Since my HA nearly 2 years ago I’ve had appendicitis twice and had it out the second time. Now I’ve got a trapped nerve in my spine and need a cortisone injection which consultant wants to do under a general anaesthetic. He wants me to stop my aspirin for 5 days before which I didn’t do before

Skin problems.
I have had very itchy rash for about 12 months and wondered whether this is caused by any of the heart medications I am taking following bypass surgery two years ago. The rash seems to be getting worse and more widespread, covering large areas of my back, shoulders and chest. I am currently taking Bisoprolol
