Hi! I just joined. CIDP: Is anyone like me?
I've lived with atopic dermatitis and multiple allergies all my life, which are controlled with local steroids, antihistamines and
emollients
. My mother had ankylosing spondylitis. Those facts, and my good response to prednisolone, convince me I have a autoimmune disease.

My skin is so red, burning and sore, i'm in a vicious circle of scratching because it burns and burns because i scratch (subconsciously )
I am really embarrassed and want to cry.My skin is so bad and i literally want to hide under a mask. My husband tried to break it in a concerning way to explain how bad my skin is but said i look like a drug addict - I don't do any drugs so was taken aback but do agree and need to get this sorted.

Is what I'm experiencing Pelvic Pain? Plus Spritz for Bits?
I'm 77 years old and have been diagnosed with rectocele and cystocele by my GP and also a private consultant, who told me he could do nothing until I had done 16 weeks of pelvic floor exercises. I found a women's health physio who tells me my pelvic floor measures 5/5 on the modified Oxford scale so

Scrotal skin after circumcision
Also, I have used E45 and Aveeno
emollients
with some success but these don't prevent the reaction from happening. Any help and advice always appreciated.

Natural emollient for toddler
My wee boy has eczema, as do I, great family trait. His has been getting worse the last few weeks so we had a consult with the practice nurse, who advised using more emollient, mainly for bath time but also moisturising. She was pretty meh about which one ie wasn’t fussed which, and prescribed a paraffin-heavy

Eczema.
Hi, I was diagnosed with an underactive Thyroid in April 2020. I am currently on 75 mcg of Levothyroxine. In the last couple of months, I have started to devolope patches of eczema. The GP has prescribed me with some steroid cream and I also use Hydromol emollient. However, neither of these products

Male Genital Redness
I am using Thunderbirdskin Resuce Balm sometimes instead of the
emollients
as its the only thing that does not seem to burn when I apply it to the area. I am at my wits end now and getting very depressed as I doubt my genitals will return to 'normal'.

Cracked skin under little toe
I have primary lymphoedema of the left leg and have recently had a bout of cellulitis brought on, I suspect, by infection getting in by cracked skin under my little toe. Any suggestions please as to prevention? I have full-length hosiery for the leg supplied through the clinic in St George’s hospital

Antihistamine Use for Insect Bites
So today I’m writing this with the risk of no bandage on, and
emollients
on the surrounding skin to give it a rest. 9.These insect bite blisters can be much larger than mine. I’ve heard of 4 inch x 2 inch.

Dry skin while on calquence
Can anyone suggest a good emollient for dry skin. I have been on calquence for 2 weeks now and have to apply Vaseline nightly. Even with that my skin is still dry. I drink lots of water so it’s not dehydration. Ideas??

Mood swings up and down like a yo-yo
Hey you fellow Afibbers and sufferers. It’s that young chap from ‘Up North’ again, bleating on about his legs. Night before last was one of the worst nights of my life. The absolutely unbearable itchiness in my lower legs (particularly right leg) was beyond description. Seemed to be worse when laying

Rash
Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I was just wondering if anyone has anything like this? It burns like mad and gets redder with heat. It never really goes but flares badly at times feeling like a burn. My GP says just dry skin but I use very thick emollient cream twice daily. Any

Soap substitutes for hand washing
Hi, I’m new here but am part of the asthma group. I have the whole atopic gang - asthma, eczema and hay fever although the hay fever less so. I was told by a doctor years ago ‘no soap on any part of your body’ so have been using soap substitutes for hand washing. I was prescribed Doublebase in a pump
