Pulmonary Embolism
Diagnosed lung blood clots (pulmonary
embolism
) via CT scan. I'm fit, 52, take no other meds and post V&O treatment Nov 22 have been back on the treadmill and felt great. Not to go too much into that detail but i wondered if anyone knew if CLL increases the likelihood of PE?

Pulmonary embolism.
After months of coughing and feeling rough, 3 weeks ago, I was diagnosed with having a pulmonary
embolism
and pleurisy on my right lung. The pain and and breathing problems were unbearable at the time and my breathing still isn't great. All of this while taking APIXABAN for the last 4 years.

Shortness of breath improved by Eliquis?
Makes me wonder if I have an occult pulmonary
embolism
or something, although I have none of the other symptoms of PE.

Why I stopped metoprolol
“After analyzing data from 1,679 people with AFib, it was found that heart rate was NOT significantly associated with heart failure hospitalizations, stroke, systemic
embolism
, or death, suggesting that strict heart rate control might not be necessary for stable outpatients with AFib.

Mixed news!
Waited 4 months for a CT scan, the results are no evidence of disease from tumour, or cervix area, and lung
embolism
appears to have resolved too. Next is a smear of my vaginal cavity (was sewn up after cervix removed) in December to double check re: the pre cancerous cells.

No diagnosis - still in hospital on my 34 th day!
So to Oxford hospital to have the MRI which pointed more conclusively to the need to investigate either the possibility of a rare
embolism
or a non ischaemic event specifically Sarcoidosis.

what now failed R223
Our local oncologist can only offer chemotherapy no other funding available but don’t know if my husband could cope with chemotherapy again, neutropenic, hospitalised twice and then admitted with multi pulmonary
embolism
, possibly from DVT and has suffered leg ulcers for a long time, but cleared now

low grade ovarian cancer in the lungs
I had pleural effusion for 2 years. My doctor didn't say that the cancer could get into the lungs but it did. I received 6 rounds of weekly taxol and carbo platin but it didn't work. Now my doctor wants to stop all treatment and send me to hospice care. please let me know if you have had that experience

Short of breath
I actually went to ER a couple of weeks ago to get checked for pulmonary
embolism
at the urging of my MO. Is my shortness of breath to be expected, i.e. others experience the same thing and result of hormone therapy so I just need to deal with it? Is it possibly caused by the Megace?

For the past nine years I have been experiencing all the common symptoms of PV and have had three embolitic events, a DVT, Pulmonary
embolism
and a cerebral venous thrombosis. I was treated for other things and no specific blood tests were ever done.
