Shortness of breath improved by Eliquis?

Have any of your experienced shortness of breath that got better while on Eliquis or other blood thinner? That's my experience, although it might be a coincidence.

I've had very mild shortness of breath on and off for a while. Often I feel it most when just beginning to exercise, and it gets better if I exercise for a while. But sometimes I feel it at rest too. It comes and goes.

I was on eliquis for a month and a half in preparation for an ablation, and the feeling totally went away while I was on it, starting on like the 2nd day. Was gone the entire time I was on it. I just temporarily stopped it a couple of days ago for an unrelated medical reason. Today the feeling of shortness of breath came back.

Anyone experienced this or know how to explain it? Makes me wonder if I have an occult pulmonary embolism or something, although I have none of the other symptoms of PE.

Not experienced that but the same thoughts entered my mind as I read your post. Can you get it checked out?
