Started medication - overall it's... okay.
I started
Elvanse
30mg and it's been a combination of mixed, muted and awesome. I'll start with the negatives (and end on some good points)
The bad:
Dry mouth is a pain. At least I've been drinking more water.

What your Trintillex and Elvanse/Vyvanse combined experience and method of taking?
I currently take 40mg of
Elvanse
morning time and 10mg of Trintillex after 6pm. I’m aware Vortioxetine is also increases serotonin. I have had some slight sleep issues while on it. Has anyone taken it in the morning WITH the adhd stimulants?

6 year old son ADHD starting medication
My son is 6 as well and in 1st grade and the preasure and structure of what was expected was causing him to have increase in impulsive behaviors, outburts, and he was needing to be removed from class all the time. He is very advanced with his reading and with writing. He was not wanting to do his work

Losing too much weight on stimulant
Hello everyone, I am looking for some help finding a medication effective for adhd that doesn’t cause weight loss. While Vyvanse has been great for my 16 year old daughter, she is now too underweight. We have to find a different solution for her adhd. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with this

Understanding Reactions to Vyvanse dosage
How can I determine if I am responding to my stimulant med dosage correctly - or if the dosage needs to be changed? Right now, I have a depressed morning mood on most days (but especially if I skipped the stimulant the day or days before), which then lifts very rapidly within a couple hours of taking

Atypical Reaction to Vyvanse
Hello, community. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD at 36 years of age. It explains so much about my whole life! I tried my first dose of Vyvanse yesterday (20 mg), and I am feeling a bit discouraged about how poorly I responded to it. It felt as though someone had taken an ice cream scoop and removed

Thoughts on Vyvanse?
Hi there. We are looking at starting meds for the first time for my daughter. I am really nervous about it. She already takes low does fluoxetine for anxiety. Our doc has prescribed Vyvanse. How has this meds worked for others out there? Thanks in advance.

Supplements for ADHD
Hello friends! I was wondering if anyone has had good luck with taking supplements along with their medications for ADHD. If so, would you mind sharing what they are? I am currently on Vyvanse 70mg and somedays I feel as though it works very well and other days I feel a crash around about noon time.

Vyvanse vs. SSRI interaction
My doc just put me on Vyvanse, 10 mg, to start with. I was on non-stimulants before and they did not do a thing for me for my ADHD. When I took the 10 mg Vyvanse yes i had drive to do things but the heart palpitations and agitation are not comfortable. I'm also taking Effexor XR 150 mg for depression

Frustrations with my psychiatrist/am I overreacting?
I've had adhd practically my entire life. It got to a debilitating point by the time I was 15 where I had to put my entire life on hold. Long story but I'm 22 now and just getting diagnosed and treated for it, and I don't have a driver's license, never had a job, and had to stop my GED because of it.

Post-diagnosis frustrations
Hi all, this is my first post here. I just wanted to share my story (mostly as a vent because I don't know anyone else with ADHD and need an outlet/support group) but hopefully this is helpful to others out there too. I am a young adult (26) working in science and had suspicions that I might have ADHD

Does anyone have any experience with Myadayis?
I take 30mg Vyvanse once daily and it works for about 6-7hrs. I work either 7:30-4pm or 12-8:30pm and Vyvanse helps me get through my shift but on my early morning shift it leaves me with no energy or motivation when I get home. When I work the evening shift I have to wait to take it so I have energy

Elvanse journey
This is 7 or 8 days into
Elvanse
. The first 2 days it felt so much better, I could be distracted by something, but go back to the task I was previously doing. I could remember to look at my list I KNEW WHERE THE LIST WAS.

Side effects from switching between stimulants?
Hello! I spent the last month on Vyvanse and did not love it. I switched back to Adderall XR for a three days and now am back on the generic XR, which is what worked the best for me in the past (there was an insurance change that had me on the brand name XR, which caused a bunch of unpleasant side effects

My journey of medication - the first few months
It’s ended up a bit long so feel free to move on with your life if you need to 😜
Elvanse
Benefits vs Side effects: Benefits: Increased focus, I can be distracted by something and then return to the thing I was doing.

Sensory overload on ADHD stims?
Hi! I found this forum here a week ago and thought I might find some support here because I don't know where else to go. I'm 22 and was diagnosed with mixed inattentive/hyperactive ADHD about 5 months ago. TL;DR - Vyvanse 30mg is working fairly well but only lasting ~4 hours and making me feel like very

Adhd med with low side effects wanted
My 11 year old has ADHD and ASD. He was on Vyvanse for 5 years and ended at 40mg a day. We took him off because although his focus was good, the side effect of him being grumpy instead of his usual happy personality was getting in the way of him socializing. We tried Concerta at 27 mg a day and he was
