Ongoing tummy issues - no idea what's wrong :(
Hey guys! I made a post about a week ago, but just wanted to make a more detailed one on symptoms i’ve been experiencing and my worries. Sorry if it’s long! For context, i’m 21 years old, weight about 40kg and i’m 5ft1 (bmi is within the underweight region). I’ve been this way for a few years now, so

PBC and Poop
Anyone with PBC ever experience having orange poop? After lots of research it turns out that orange poop indicates the lack of bile salts. After learning this I became much more attentive to when I took Urso. I'm not a meal eater because of digestion stuff...I eat very small amounts all day. So,

Gallstone Help
Hi everyone. Was diagnosed with gallstones and a kidney stone a few months ago. had a few severe attacks from March to January. I had my first consultation cancelled for January due to covid. I thought I would be ok to wait until this pandemic is all over if I control my diet. I’ve lost nearly 4 stone

Meal replacement shakes and soups

Recent Diagnosis. What tests should I ask for?
I was recently diagnosed with PBC with a positive AMA and elevated liver enzymes. Are there other tests I should request to better understand my condition? Is it important to know what stage you are? My GI doctor seems knowledgable and put me on URSO right away but should I see a specialist? Is

New to the group ....hi everyone
Hi I'm New to this group. My question is, has anyone with an under active thyroid found being on a gluten free diet has helped their symptoms, ie constant tiredness and over production if mucus. Thank you.

Hi all Cab you help me out please? My brother is absolutely convinced that something I'm eating, if not the cause of the PMR, is certainly making it worse. I'm happy he is interested but I'm slightly less convinced than him. I barely drink alcohol as that causes more pain. I eat in a low carb way as

Gallstones
Hello! I'm doing rather good. As some of you might remember, I was diagnosed with decompensated liver cirrhosis some time ago. My liver is in compensated state now, I'm very thankful for that. But an appointment at my doctor's yesterday showed that I now have developed some gallstones. Due to time shortage

New weapon for inflammation.
Flinders University researchers have discovered a new anti-inflammatory role for well-known blood clot protein fibrinogen, which could support targeted new treatments for kidney, heart and other common diseases. The study in Redox Biology describes how fibrinogen can be protective against hypochlorite

Sudden changes and questions re Tocilizumab
Happy New Year everyone. My daily task is to read the latest posts, and I learn so much from them, this forum is invaluable to me. And I thank you all for that. You may recall I have no faith in my rheumatologist, who thinks because my bloods are normal, that I shouldn't have symptoms return after
