Was set up with a Lifecard CF this morning for a 24 hour ECG.
Just noticed it saying error battery low!
No chance of getting hold of anyone now so wondered if anyone knows whether I should try and change the battery or leave it? Is it still recording? Or is this a waste of my time and I’ll have to do this again?
Cheers

Hi - it actually recorded all night and right up to the point I dropped it off at the hospital reception. I chatted to the ladies there and explained and I also wrote a note that is now in the box. They just said 'the cardiac team will pick it up and let you know'...
Hoping that it was only a short time that it wasn't recording. What was good though is I always have a dip into low 30's after breakfast and when I sit at my desk. SODS law would be that it didn't happen today but, like clockwork, it did!
I was told it might take a month for the results though!
I would definitely phone them. When I had a 24 hour holter monitor the electrodes kept coming off and wouldn't stick back on. It ended up only recording 8 of the 24 hours. Luckily they could diagnose from that and I didn't need to do it again but it was a weekend so I couldn't contact them.
