Annual Humiliation:
I wanted to follow up with what happened with the Transplant team last week. First of all, shame on me for expecting something else. Since I was off the list for two years and just reinstated last fall, I had never gone through an annual meeting. I thought when I talked with the nurse coordinator, that

Heart block worry
Felt something was wrong within my body for a few years as if I was fighting a recurring virus or getting burn out. Every 3 months or so. Had a few blips with high blood pressure spikes, hospital check , However medication and adjusting lifestyle and retiring from work seemed to help. Although anxiety

Hawthorn supplement helped
I have had paroxysmal AF for several years, but episodes were getting more frequent and lasting longer in the past year. I am a 53 yo female, slim build, never smoked, in good health otherwise. My mom had AF (tachycardia) for 40 yrs and my brother has V tach, so it's very much genetic. I saw the cardiologist

Recording AF with LBBB
I suffer from pAF and left bundle branch block. I would like to record an episode of AF on a personal ECG . I know many of you use Kardia but some reviews say it will not record AF if you have lbbb. I contacted Kardia and they confirmed it may record an af episode as unclassified. My Fitbit records

my blood pressure was really high 18 months ago and I was prescribed 5mg Amlidopine which reduced it but not enough , so was given extra medication of ramipril 1.25mg to get to a decent level . I was going through a lot of stress at the time my highest readings were 189/119 over a few weeks . My ECG

I was diagnosed with PMR in 2020 and felt that I was tapering successfully until I had a full reverse shoulder replacement in February this year. i struggled with an immense lethargy so my GP organised various tests. These showed I was anaemic which I couldn’t understand as I eat quite well . After a

Woohoo! 1 year anniversary since my quadruple CABG 🙌🏻
Wow! Hard to believe that it’s been a year since I had quadruple bypass heart surgery following an Nstemi heart attack. I am so grateful. This last month has been pretty eventful too. I got the opportunity to thank two people that really contributed to my path of treatment and therefore my rebirth

Anyone with experience of taking Dipyridamole and Aspirin together ?
After a vasovagal syncope in Feb.2024 I was sent for brain MRI scan. And a ECG .The result was scar evidence of a small stroke on left side of my head. The ECG was clear. My blood pressure was back to normal around 132/72. I was put on Candestarten clexitel 8 mg daily , atorvastatin 20 mg and Clopidogrel

Follow-up?
I was diagnosed with atrial flutter/afib almost two years ago. Currently, it's paroxysmal, mostly presenting as flutter episodes lasting about 30 minutes, occurring roughly three times a year. I understand atrial flutter/afib can sometimes progress to more frequent or longer episodes over time. I know

New here Not new to AF
Hi all, I got diagnosed with AF about a year ago now, I’ve been into A and E countless times ending up in the majors and resuscitation wards staying over night and it’s all been fairly scary I’ve had one cardio version and have been scheduled for two more both times I went back to have the ECG I was

ECG: Possible interior myocardial infarction, or Indeterminate.
Good afternoon all, I am posting this because I had a stress echo done about 3 1/2 weeks ago and everything went fine; as according to my cardiologist. However; upon reviewing my test result on my patient portal the ECG stated amongst other things " Possible interior myocardial infarction, or indeterminate

New to Doxil… any one have heart issues?
Hi Ladies- maybe you can help? In just two days, I am due for my 3rd infusion of Doxil… which started out hard but last month was fine. The problem now is that my Apple Watch keeps alarming… well by that I mean it alarms and notifies me each time my heart rate dips below 40 beats per min for 10 solid

Any help with a breathing diagnosis really appreciated.
Hello all, love this forum, it’s been so incredibly helpful to me! ❤️ I am a 48 year old man. I am fit and healthy (well I thought I was!) 5 months ago, (March 2024) after some chest pain whilst running, I got diagnosed with coronary artery disease in my LAD and I was booked in for a stent fitting.

Wellue users and True Afib
I am using a 24 hour Wellue device. I am an ER Nurse and well versed in ECG readings. My Wellue is interpreting Atrial Fibrillation, but I am skeptical. I have frequent PACs, Atrial Tachycardia in 2-7 beat runs, and blocked PACs. Have any of you had this experience? Being educated in reading them, do
