I’m no expert but I can see a P wave which a lack of is what distinguishes AF from other arrythmias. The second and third line look like Bigemy or extra beat between beats. You should take to your doctor for a diagnosis as it would wrong for anyone here to diagnose.

If it were me, I would get it checked out sooner rather than later.

Yes, it does not look like atrial fibrillation, but rather ectopics and perhaps other arrhythmias. If concerned, best to show it to an ep, as no one here is medically trained.

Looks like bigeminy, ectopics in a pattern, doesn’t seem to cause alarm in medics but do report it.

Looks like mine does when I am in Bigeminy. It isn't a fun feeling.

do you suffer from anxiety? I had a similar issue about 6 months ago and was put on anxiety medication and the extra beats went away and haven’t returned. Thank god for that. It wasn’t a good feeling at all having those extra beats.

That's very interesting and thank goodness you found an answer. What anxiety medicine were you prescribed?

Mine seem unrelated to anything I feel or do and can be near constant.

Escitalopram 10mg once daily is what I was prescribed. I was never diagnosed of anxiety prior being put on this medication. My PVC's went away 2 weeks after starting this medication and when I went back to the doctor for review, it was then that he suggested I may have been suffering from anxiety. I had been but just never knew it. I never believed mental health was real until that point. This medication has really helped me.

Stress and anxiety can cause many issues.

I was given that many years ago but reacted very badly indeed with awful side effects. I was unlucky.

I am so sorry to hear that Steve. You may want to consult with your doctor and also may be try some yoga and other exercises. Exercise really does help. Good luck and stay blessed.

I love my exercise but more often that not , triggers AF 🤦‍♀️

Can I ask what anxiety medication you were using and how long you were on it? I have a prescription for lorazapam but all the doctors tell me to use it only when it's really needed. They are afraid it is habit forming so I try to use it sparingly.

Thanks

Escitalopram 10mg is what I was prescribed with lorazepam but because lorazepam is habit forming, I stopped that and only take Escitalopram 10mg once daily and this has really helped me. I am so sorry for the delayed response.

possibly PACs, premature atrial contractions.

Hi

With some AF is diagnosed by other ways, like 24-hr Heart Monitor.

Be patient whilst they determine what is wrong with your heart. Although I had 3 of these in one year its usefulness is A1.

Heart rate can be rapid or slow. Dr should be taling your heart rate via stethoscope or physically not by machine.

All the best as the medical sort you out. In the end I went private because I was kept on Beta Blockers and my Heart Rate rapid was not controlled on Metoprolol which I had NO to due to much earlier treatment using it made me breathless. Bisoprolol a little better from 186 to 156 bpm and 47avg at night my normal, I was introduced to CCB Calcium Channel Blocker Diltiazem and within 2 hours taking 1/2 dose my heart dropped from 156 to 51!.

With twinking down to 120mg AM and 2.5mg Bisoprolol for BP I have been on this regime 2 years 4 months, controlled.

I got a massive improvement in ectopics when I started taking magnesium.

My view, ask for further tests and diagnosis if you feel there is a problem and something doesn't feel quite right.
