PMR after Flu Vaccination
I'm new here, just joining this week, I'm 70 years old. I developed PMR in 2020 after my first FLU vaccination in 44 years, I had the Swine FLU vaccination in 1976 which also made me very sick. Has anyone else experienced this? In 1976 very few virus strains, in 2020 multiple virus strains in the vaccination

Icy feeling in chest
Hi Everyone, I previously posted here when I was first given inhalers in 2020 to manage after-effects of COVID/pneumonia. I was on Flutiform 250mg x2 twice a day. They seemed to help a lot and eventually I stopped taking them just before Christmas. Recently I have noticed that when it is cold outside

Delaying cognitive decline
I had a BT partially removed in 2009 followed by 30 rounds of RT in 2010. Tumour has been stable since but I have experienced side effects (fatigue, tinnitus, confusion, cognitive decline, etc). Today I had a radio oncologist review and I explained this. He told me that because of dose of the radiation

Hope everyone is well
Hi all Hope you are all keeping safe and well, sorry I haven't been on for a long time. Mum, sister and I all had bronchitis but mum's turned to Pneumonia and we almost lost her. On a brighter note I thought that I would cheer everyone up and introduce you to my super cute puppy, Blossom Lucy.

So cold all the time
Does anyone else with Hashimotos/ Hypothyroidism here really struggle with the cold. I'm spending hours a day wrapped in a blanket, and that is over the top of several layers/thick jumper, and I am still cold! I hate it so much. I am so hopeful that Spring is on the way, I feel so much better with the

Daffodils
I was just messing around seeing if I could possibly post a photo - and I did. A great technological leap for me. This picture was taken last year, but the daffs look lovely this year too. It's very cold outside, too cold to be snapping. xxx

This is the third cough/ virus/ infection since November and they have knocked me for 6. Any advice?
Hi there. I am new to the site and consider myself to be healthy, but unlucky when it comes to illness. I was asthmatic as a child, spending time in hospital when I was very young, which was horrid. Anyway, over time asthma seemed to disappear and I went without use or need of an inhaler from my 20s

Neither my GP nor the respirologist I had one appt with said I need a CT scan done. (GP is worried about radiation exposure) How do you know exactly what you have if you dont have

Starting running after covid pneumonia
Around 2 years ago, I completed couch to 5k and became quite a good runner, cyclist and did plenty of hiking. I'm 50 years old. However, in September 2021 my world was turned upside down when I caught covid and it landed me in hospital, seriously ill. It developed into pneumonia, and respiratory failure

Cold/flu symptoms
Just curious to know if cold/flu symptoms could be a post op symptom, I’m 4 weeks post op and this is the second time in 4 weeks I’ve felt feverish with flu symptoms. Is immune system affected post op, if so how long for? Feel like all I do is post on here constantly!

10 days ago I finished wk5 & then came down with a cold. Hopefully this Friday I’m planning on resuming. Should I go straight in to the week 6 plan or restart week 5.

Can anyone shed any light on fatigue? Two years now since I was in icu on a ventilator/ trachiotomy and on ECMO. I was sedated from 30/12/19 until 28/1/20. But in icu 18/12/19 to 9/2/20. Not covid related. But with acute respiratory failure./ pneumonia. I am still feeling weak and lethargic as well

Hi all. Long story short I have been getting recurrent thrush for 4 years, ever since I lost my virginity to my current partner. We have both been treated and I have even done long term courses of fluconazole (150mg a week for 6 months) this keeps the thrush away but 6 months after the last tablet it
