Actinic keratosis & Lung cancer
My question is- dad has actinic keratosis ( for around 25 years +) which was managed with
efudix
cream i.e would bring out rough skin patches and then clear completely, however since Jan this year, a section of these rough skin patches has not healed.

Acalabrutinib and Skin Cancers
Currently treating these with
efudix
before further biopsies taken in a month or so with surgery to follow findings of positive results. I am aware that Acalabrutinib might be resonsible for encouraging skin cancers to develop?

Can Flourouracil trigger a PMR flare?
Three weeks ago I started a course of once-a-day Flourouracil cream (trade name
Efudix
). This is for sun damage to my face. Three days ago I started what I think is a PMR flare and added an extra 5mg Prenisolone to my daily 3mg dose. There has been no improvement.

Safe skin cancer treatment for PMR, advice please
Does anyone have any experience of Efudex cream for solar keratosis or skin cancer? I was prescribed it by a dermatologist but wonder if our thinner skin reacts more to it? I used it on a couple of small dark patches for about three weeks and it was quite alarming, just so relieved I didn’t slap it on

Collecting research/knowledge
Medical history practically nonexistent prior to 65. Dx’d hypo (2015) of blood test and started mylan levo. First reaction in eyes and a sort of full body cascade continued for 8+ months. Stopped meds - reactions stopped. About 2 weeks after starting mylan levo I had what I described as a quasi seizure
