Hi everyone this is my first post so hope I have some luck.

I have been diagnosed with severe DSAP of legs and arms, using efudix at the moment.

I have been told of a blue light treatment that may help, but been told this is not available in the southeast of England has anyone heard of this treatment and where is it available. Fishpound

Hi DSAP is Disseminated Superficial Actinic Porokeratosis it is a skin condition of red sores and dry skin it is caused by too much sun in my younger days. If you type in dsap on google it explains all about it. There is no cure for it but the blue light treatment is supposed to help, I must not go out in the sun unless I have factor 50 on or keep covered up hope this helps fishpound

Oh my goodness it sounds very difficult to cope with just as many skin conditions. I don't have any experience of blue light treatment but you are on the right forum to ask the question. It might also be worth contacting the British Skin Foundation as they have information on all skin conditions and treatments.
