Seeking some advice [Had numerous tests]
Hi, 48yr old male, not overweight, eat relatively healthy, but due to a back issue, limited exercise. Take no meds other than painkillers from time to time for my back. But wasn't taking them during these episodes. My issues began a week today exactly. Got up for the loo around 4am, and went back to

Could I Be Sensitive to Bisoprolol, Even at HALF the Dose?
Hi all, Over a month ago now I was advised by my GP and an A&E doctor that I could cut my Bisoprolol (1.25mg) tablets in half, due to the fact that my heart rate was dropping to the 40s at night and the 50s whilst I was at work sat at my desk. I've noticed since then that my heart rate is still

EKG from normal to Sinus bradycardia in stage 3b CKD
My 77 year old husband stable in stage 3b for couple years recently had dizziness and some nausea. PCP did an EKG and found sinus bradycardia. Last EKG two years ago was normal. He has not had any dizzy spells for couple months and his first cardiologist visit advised him to maintain his BP meds etc

Tried it all
I've had depression for 27 years now. I've had 3 major episodes and am going through one right now. I think the best word is torture. My mind is being tortured and all I want to do is sleep. I do get up and do things, but time moves so, so slowly! I did ECT back in 2005 and did 14 sessions and it

Doctor said ECG results were fine, but when I reviewed the report it says AF detected and wide complex tachycardia detected
[Edited to remove personal information] I have recently had a 24 hour ECG, my doctor told me my results were fine but offered to put me on beta blockers. I wasn't happy with this answer and asked for a copy of my ECG report. I have looked at the report myself and have noticed that it says AF detected

I was sat on the couch and started feeling hot and a bit of a fluttering sensation in my chest and a bit dizzy. This ecg reading came back unclassified and whilst it was recording it said my heart rate was 164bpm yet the pdf says 72bpm 🤷🏻♀️ I have just bought a book to try and teach myself on a

Im in my 50's . Was sort of bullied by cardiologists to take Beta blockers and have been on a low dose

I was on 4.5 mgs until a week ago when l realised l couldn’t cope with the fatigue, lower back pain ( stenosis) and weak heavy legs any more so l went back up to 5mgs. I have felt a lot better but something very strange and scary has started

Newport Marathon Race Report and Huge HURRUMPH!
Warning: there are medical issues towards the end of this post! Started training for this at the beginning of the year. Since I was already running HMs, that was plenty of time. However, due to a mixture of icy weather, colds and a ski trip, I didn't follow the plan too closely. Also, Strava’s fitness
