BRUGADA PATTERN VS BRUGADA SYNDROME

Hello ! I went to the doctor , as I keep getting random chest pains and when he did an ECG , it was discovered that it shows a 'Brugada Pattern', so he referred me to see a cardiologist. The doctor did an echocardiogram ,but I also had a 7 day heart rate monitor , a 24 hour blood presure monitor fitted , blood tests and x-ray ,all normal . Don't really know much about family history, but my grandmother died in her 50's , not sure of what and I am 54. So quite worried. I don't have any other symptoms apart from random hot flushes and sleep problems.Seeing another specialist next week in London .Probably have to have a ajmaline test. Has anyone got a Brugada pattern, but has not been diagnosed with Brugad syndrome and similar symptoms? What is your story?

I wanted to check and see how you were doing. I was diagnosed about a month ago. Doctor in New Orleans are not very familiar with Brugada pattern
