I had a stent put in in October 2020 and everything was ok I had a few visits to A& E with chest pain but since them I’ve walked over 500,000 steps starting in March this year and my recent Echocardiogram was fine I only discovered my LAD Blockage when I had a routine Angiogram so it was a shock I continue to do plenty of walking and eat healthily 95% of the time but I have recently been very tired all the time my sleep pattern has been disturbing and I occasionally get shoulder and arm pain after eating and at rest on the couch I’m stressed most of the time and I’m one of life’s worriers I’m concerned my condition may now be Unstable Angina I don’t feel the need to reach for my GTN Spray as it seems to come and go any thoughts

My thoughts? Report this to your cardiac nurse or consultant first thing tomorrow morning. Or to your GP if you've been discharged back from Cardiology.

Your symptoms could be anything from another blocked coronary, or microvascular dysfunction, or an aggravated nerve to...only a trained professional can determine what is going on. BONUS - talking to your medic(s) can only help, especially to ease your very reasonable anxieties during this time when you don't know what is causing your symptoms.

Please keep us updated as you go on.
