Can anxiety cause bradycardia?
Yesterday I went to a cardiologist, got an ECG and an
echocardiogram
, results showed nothing, I have a healthy heart although I’ll be followed by a holter monitor to detect when the bradycardia occurs.

24 hr tape will it pick up Micro vascular angina?
Echocardiogram
was clear and angiogram as I said picked up the mild coronary disease. Just want answers as I was a fit 54 yr old female up until beginning of year when this all started and now not able to do the things I enjoy like hill walking and going to the gym.

How do I ask for a repeat test I feel is needed but cardiologist doesn't?
I was told on 2nd admission I'd be having a repeat
echocardiogram
, that never happened. Due to worsening symptoms since april I'm worried about heart function, it wasn't suggested at my last appointment either .

After diagnosis of Mild mitral valve regurgitation, do I continue exercising and living as normal?
Never been diagnosed with murmur and previous
echocardiogram
in 2011 after pneumothorax didn't flag any issue. I guess my question is: Do I just go about my normal life and exercise routine and follow GP advice of "business as usual"?

Echo findings
Whilst in hospital with fast AF I was given an
echocardiogram
. This was my first echo in AF. I have an echo every 6 months and the last one was normal except for dilated LA which they said was down to my weight.

Heart condition after Covid
Because of this I have recently had a cardiac mri (after already having several ECGs, a holter monitor and
echocardiogram
) which found I have either had myocarditis at some point post Covid leaving me with mild cardiac fibrosis or the fibrosis is an early cardiomyopathy.

Clear angiogram
After a
echocardiogram
and a 24 hour ecg monitor. I have another
echocardiogram
test on the 28th. Been off the other meds for a second day so far and feeling better a bit. Not as bad symptoms, but time will tell in my rollercoaster. But Bp still dips tho.

Advice needed please …
I know there are long waits everywhere at the moment but I haven’t heard anything from the hospital about the
echocardiogram
appointment they said I would get and my GP still hasn’t received a letter so I’m guessing it would be best to get this done privately?

Total thyroidectomy
Hi After suffering from breathlessness for a few months, I underwent various tests in April 2021 to try and find the cause. During a lung CT to see if I had any blood clots, I was advised that my thyroid was very large, not in the right location, and multi-nodular and could be the cause of the breathing

Cardioversion + TEE
What I didn’t know until I talked to the scheduler yesterday is that it will be preceded by a transesophageal
echocardiogram
(TEE). I also learned that my EP, who is the most experienced member of the team and also older, does not himself perform cardioversions when they are combined with TEE.

Micro vascular angina and vasospasm update
Unfortunately though my symptoms of breathlessness and exhaustion continued and I would also get chest tightness and upper back pain with nausea so had numerous trips to A and E and 3 further angiograms done and
echocardiogram
which showed heart function ok and stents ok.

Further

Heart worries
Being 40 I was concerned about this so I had many test done,
echocardiogram
, cat scan of my heart carried two holsters for 24 hours . Also cat scans of lungs to make sure the shortness of breath wasn’t related to the heart issues and it was not. Further tests included test of my abdomen checking!
