My Anorexia isn't the best right now. I hate the way I look. My thighs are big, my stomach is bloated. I hate it. Haven't ate in a few weeks, and I'm starving. I can't eat though. I need help with my ED

Ptsd
I've been dealing with a lot of issues lately. I was just diagnosed with PTSD and I am hoping that I will meet others that are dealing with this issue as well as I am. I am looking for for maybe ideas on how others cope.

Sudden Panic Attacks After A Long Time
I haven't had panic attacks in the longest time (maybe about 2 to 3 months) and one suddenly hit me out of nowhere to go. It terrified the hell out of me; I suddenly felt like I couldn't take a deep breath and my heart was racing and I felt nauseous. And I was reminded all over again how terrifying a

Update on anti-virals
Like many here I was sent a pcr test to use if I got Covid because I could be eligible for anti-virals. My pcr test was positive on Saturday ( having tested positive on Friday with a lft) and I got lots of texts about what would happen next, mostly promising that I would have NHS contact within 24 hours

Thriving Work Anxiety and Mental Collapse
Employees may use alcohol or drugs to cope with mental stress and anxiety issues. Thus mental illness and thriving anxiety could lead to addiction and its related issues. Slow Transit pain and possible Nortriptyline success
So I have bitten the bullet and now taking low dose Nortriptyline as recommended by my Gastro to help with the pain and spasms I get with my colonic inertia (slow transit) that effects the left section of my colon. I had been putting this med off for months because of fear and I'm not one who likes to

Panic attack and depression
Everything was going great for the last 2 months but now I'm freaking out and down as he'll. It started with me reheating food in a Togo box for my wife and all the sudden she got really annoyed and just went on a cleaning rampage,I kept asking what was wrong and she said that she feels like we can't

ENT referral
Hi, After a private hearing test I was told to give results to GP as left ear is noticeably worse than my right. I've had slightly worse hearing in my left ear for years maybe even 7 or 8 but it wasn't bad, just noticeably not as good so never really paid it any attention, I do very occasionally have

New to Headway as the spouse of someone with TBI
Good morning all, Just a note to say hello and express my gratitude for finding this group! I've been married for 34 years and my wife had a TBI in 2016. Thank God the effects have been relatively mild, but enough to drive me to find this site. She almost died from a fall and had to undergo a craniectomy

Testing positive for covid
It was going to happen I have tested positive for covid. I have to say the response from NHS and government is confusing. After reporting my lateral flow test the NHS told me to isolate but the government guidelines say it’s not a legal requirement and my employer is following the government advice.
