so I took my first dose of Buprenorphine last night. I started with 1 mg,that wasn't enough so I took the other half ( I have the 2 mgs) This stuff is amazing! Not a single jiggle of the legs! I'm going to drop to 1 mg tonight again and see.how that goes. I had to take half.a clonazepam for the, sleep

A revelatory month
Last day of the month. It's been topsy turvy. I started in in a place of plateau, weight fluctuating back and forth. Many heart to heart chats with my PT on well beaten paths of conversation. Physical progress was good, I worked hard on my gym sessions, I certainly didn't shirk. However on the eating

A fortnight is a long time ... 🤔
A fortnight is a long time in weight loss. It isn't enough time to achieve your goals but it's long enough to derail you. The last 2 weeks have not gone well. I think it's not a stretch of the imagination to draw inferences from the last entry to this one. After much hype, fanfare and self aggrandizement

Life-threatening Asthma Attack
Hi. This is my first time posting. I recently had a severe attack which resulted in 2 admissions in very quick succession. On my second admission my asthma worsened to the point that I needed ITU care and intubation. During my time in A&E all the doctors were concerned about was my O2 sats. I tried to

Post Skin Biobsy Horribleness
I had a skin biopsy yesterday using local anaesthetic, standard skin puncture and a couple of stitches. I actually felt quite well after the procedure but feel like I've been run over by a truck today. I took 5mg of hydrocortisone about an hour ago and now feel slightly better. Is adrenal output taxed

add injury to my misery
I have had RLS for around 40 years. I was on ropineral for about 20 years and was taken off by Dr. B around 3 years ago. I tried methadone ( didn’t like the drug hangover), oxycodone ( worked fairly well for about 8 months) and am now on Buprenorphine/Naloxone sublingual film 1/5 or 1/4 of a film in

Buprenorphine Sublingual Tablets and journey to recovery
With amazing support here and guided to a GP that heard me and helped with Buprenorphine. Then saw a doctor at the Alcohol and Drug Clinic which went very well, delighted to see and hear about how the medication is helping me. Four months ago to now, I am a totally different person. Mentally and physically

Results of my blood tests
My GP rang on Friday as promised to tell me all my blood tests were normal, so he didn't know why I was losing appetite & weight.I told him I had asked my Forum friends if they had lost weight on buprenorphine & the answer was "yes", with a few exceptions. Loss of weight and appetite
Hi All, as you know I have now been on buprenorphine tablets (low dose) for 10 months with HUGE success.I have recently flown 11 hours from Heathrow to Arizona with NO RLS. My legs did go crazy for my first few days in the US until I worked out the time difference. My question is has anyone lost weight

Good News!!!
My dr. approved the buprenorphine for me. I am thinking positive that it will work. She is giving me the patch. I am excited. I have to discontinue the horizant though which surprised me and of course discontinue the oxycodone. Hopefully now you won't have to listen to me complaining and I will

Intermittent RLS: why carbidopa/levodopa????
Can anyone enlighten me as to why the Mayo Clinic suggests carbidopa/levodopa (sinemet) as prn therapy as opposed to ropinorole/pramipexole? I used to have persistent RLS (managed with ropinorole) which thankfully stopped after I stopped my SSRI. Now it’s intermittent and I can’t understand why I should

oxycodone and buprenorphine experiment
as you all may know, I thought buprenorphine was causing some pain issues so I quit taking it and went back to 5 mg of oxycodone three times a day. I gave it a solid month to be sure. this was a terrible terrible mistake. it appears the buprenorphine has changed my body. The oxy was not only mostly
