SPINAL INJECTIONS
I commiserate with all back pain sufferers and those- like myself- who are 'hooked' on tablets Came home from Yemen for some holiday and Sciatica hit me out of nowhere.Luckily then, but not now, I had private medical because of where I lived & worked as poor Yemeni's had litle to nothing for any ailments

pain getting worse, reducing pregabalin, getting no help with it!
Hi, I am slowly reducing the pregabalin to come off it next week, problem is nobody is supporting me with it, the gp, neurologist know I am doing it but I am struggling with the increasing nerve pain. I wake up in the night, if I can even sleep, my feet spasm, part of the nerve pain from the amputation

I have now been told that I have PTSD! Why?
I have had anxiety and depression since I had a breakdown 16 year's ago when a woman I thought was a friend, stabbed me in the back ( not literally!) because she wanted to be me ! Goodness knows why ! Long story! I fought hard with the help of an OT and I would not be here but for him and people here

Has anyone else had pain when breathing in, due to fibromyalgia?
hello to all my fellow fibro warriors, I’ve been living with this for over ten years but recently it’s moved from being dominantly on my left side to my right and I’ve developed a back pain that feels like a rock in the bottom of my lung… it’s mainly in right and towards the end of the day it starts

I’m confused…
Hi, I’m confused about something. Did the Oramorph I’ve taken for years cause my RLS or is it keeping it from being way worse? I also used Buprenorphine patches for a while for another condition but it didn’t help the RLS. Thanks.

struggling with nerve pain after amputation and burn
Hi, I am new to this community and hope I can unload a little bit because I am struggling with nerve pain. I burnt my foot by spilling boiling water over it over 3 years ago, the burn was healing very slowly, I kept getting infections, cellulitis, and swelling. It got to the point that they had to amputate

Morphine & Oramorph.
Hi all, My dad is now bedridden with CBD. He appears to be in constant pain. Although he can't verbalise. Codeine is no longer keeping him comfortable. Today the GP has prescribed morphine twice daily and Oramorph in between. Has this proven to be an affective pain relief for others please. He already

frustrated with gp re pain meds.
Ever since I had my stroke in 2018, I’ve not been allowed nsaids, due to the increased risk of further strokes. My then gp prescribed butec patches, which in the 5.5yrs have only been increased twice to the current 15mcg. I was given Tramadol for breakthrough pain which I don’t take too often. A box

Went in for my 6 week consultants review after my valve replacement and bypass on Wednesday (the first appointment was originally 12 weeks, but I got an earlier one so only 5 weeks 2 days....lucky I did). I thought I was not really improving on the breathless side, turns out I had a plural effusion (

pain in arms, looking for alternative to naproxen
Hi, I have been struggling with fluid retention and swollen legs for some time now. Last week my orthopaedic consultant requested that I go into hospital so they could have a good look at the wound on my left foot as it wasn't healing very well. I had been taking naproxen for arthritis and shoulder pain

It has been my longest and toughest journey of my life.
My fibromyalgia started in a writer way. In 2019, I became very ill with several bloody UTIS, which then affected my skin, my body was producing what was similar to small fish scales, they would ping out of my skin all over my body. Come out my tear ducks. When I was on the loo I could hear them hitting
