High-intensity Exercise Can Reverse Neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s Disease
In fact, after six months of exercise, the neurons actually had grown healthier and produced stronger dopamine signals. Dopamine is a chemical that helps brain cells communicate with each other. The researchers published their findings in npj Parkinson’s Disease on February 9. https://medicine.yale.edu

Dopamine the problem?
This is old, but scares the crap put of me. Is dopamine and possibly c/l making things worse? Seems kinda like Dr. Sackler Bernstein is saying. My fear is mindless taking CL will burn me later... Any thoughts? https://www.science.org/content/article/dopamine-may-exacerbate-parkinsons-disease

Off Dyskinesia-anyone else have it? What's your fix?
Approximate 11 years into taking sinemet my pharmacy started only carrying generic versions. Which I'd when I started experiencing dyskinesia when the Carbidopa/levadopa started to wear off. And was told snd treated by a movement specialist that I was over medicated and attempted to reduce my dosage

Falls - result of DAs?
My Mum has periods of falling a lot, and I'm wondering if there's a connection to Ropinerole? She's also on Zapain for arthritis pain....so that could also be a culprit. Just wondered if anyone on here has had balance issues as a result of dopamine agonists?

Day 1 as a CHADD member
I am a 64 year old married man who has suspected something wrong with me my entire life. When I was a child, ADHD was not something the world knew about. there was no understanding, no diagnosis, no help, and certainly no treatment. I just thought I was dumber than the rest of the world. The trouble

Ropinerole augmentation
I would like some opinions on this question. I have been on a dopamine agonist for a little over 2 years. Currently on 2 mg of ropinerole before sleep. My last increase was 4-5 months ago. I have decided against anymore increases and will look to switch to Gabapentin if augmentation appears evident.

Post Illness Food Issues?
Two weeks ago I contracted COVID for the third time and this lady week since I've been better I've had a frustrating issue with eating. (Yes, I am fully vaxed; no, I do not want to debate that with anyone) I now find all of my go to foods uninteresting or unpleasant. I thought it might be an issue with

Psychedelics anti inflammatory can help neurodegeneration?
Came across this video while looking for info on anti inflammatory effects of psychedelics. Last week I tried for first time a small dose. Though I didn’t get any hallucinations or visuals I did spontaneously laughed a lot and it felt cathartic and to my surprise I felt 30-40% improvement in my PD symptoms

Success (I hope) with Gabapentin
I have had RLS for more years than I can remember. For years I took mirapexin till I augmented. I tried Pregabalin but I felt dizzy all the time and I put on a lot of weight quickly. I started tramadol and then alternated between that and mirapexin ( yes I went back on it). I coped like this for a long
