Shortness of breath
My research revealed that some people get this symptom as a result of the muscles in the chest Ie The rib cage and the diaphragm going into some sort of spasm that’s a result of lack of
dopamine
. Has anybody experience something similar?

Can Rytary make your anxiety worse or not work at all? Does anyone else suffer from severe anxiety? Experienced Dystonic type attacks?
I was told by an E.R. doctor that i was having a Dystonic reaction to the Rytary or Carbidopa levadopa and given Benadryl as an antidote to counteract the medication but was also told my current Nuero and another Dr that i shouldn't take Bendaryl because it takes
Dopamine
out of the brain and isn't good

Shopping addiction?
I just realized that I have a tendency to do lots of small shopping sprees almost every day, in which I’ll tell myself I’m going into X store to just buy this one thing, I’ll go into the store and get this euphoric rush of
dopamine
picking out and buying lots of little things I don’t need, but tell myself

Aldehydes and thiamine and Candida
Without sufficient ALDH activity, the production cycle of
dopamine
therefore creates a build up of toxins, which in turn harm the cells involved in the
dopamine
cycles, killing, damaging or at least shutting them down.

Porn Addiction almost ruined my life.
It's called 'hypofrontality' but essentially the constant
dopamine
from the reward center causes the pre-frontal cortex to become deficient. It's been over two months since I quit using porn entirely.

Levodopa and cerebral blood flow
I sense that I can feel blood vessels in or near my scalp changing as I head towards off-time and as the next dose as Sinemet CR (50-200) levodopa is transformed into
dopamine
inside my noggin. ×÷×÷× Effects of Levodopa on Regional Cerebral Metabolism and Blood Flow. Ji Hyun Ko, Renata P.

RLS and Adenosine (use of dipyridamole)
His hope is that a dipyridamole-type treatment could be used in place of
dopamine
agonist drugs. He stated that the initial data would need to be corroborated before dipyridamole could be recommended but stated that he was very enthusiastic about it.

My husband's neurologist lectures him constantly about taking too much
dopamine
. Parkinson's is a disease that constantly changes and hallucinations and delusions are common with taking too much. I am amazed that a person other than a neuarologist would keep refilling her prescription.

Dopamine Scan
Good grief......I'm under a neurologist for chronic daily migraine (diagnosed 2 months ago) and following my latest Neuro. exam, my Consultant has decided to schedule a SPECT DAT scan to measure
dopamine
levels in the brain. Now I must admit that my anxiety is REALLY high over this one.

Low Dose Naltrexone
This particular interview is of interest because it addresses ICDs, which may help those who are experiencing compulsive behaviours as a result of a
dopamine
agonist or levodopa. It may also help with, inter alia, anxiety, depression, sleep and opioid abuse.

Quitting Sinemet
What is a good replacement medicine for somebody who has been on a
dopamine
agonist for such a long time? I am adding a picture of some baby kratom plants. I live in Costa Rica now so I get to grow my own mucuna beans AND kratom. Fun!

Confused about methods to create dopamine in pwp
If the part of our brain that creates
dopamine
is damaged, if we exercise does our brain create more
dopamine
? Or is it just helping my body use what I have better??

THIAMINE, another view
My credentials for giving an opinion are, I qualified in medicine 60 years ago, so I saw what
dopamine
could do when it was first introduced. Secondly I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a year ago at age 83, so I have a vested interest in any cure, or improvement.

Hi! I’m 66, probably had PD for 50 years, diagnosed 7 years ago. I’m using KETO diet to fix PD - 3 days into ZERO meds, feeling pretty good
I’ve been eating no carbs and lots of fat for a fortnight and gradually reducing from 16mg of the
dopamine
agonist Ropinirole and 12 Sinemet down to ZERO meds for the last 3 days.
