Agonist versus Levadopa
From what I've been reading, it seems that taking a
dopamine
agonist versus levadopa is a "one or the other" choice. My neurologist has me taking 8 mg ropinirole hcl er once a day (at nighttime) and 25/100 caridopa/levadopa three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

amantadine, norepinephrine, locus coeruleus, methylphenidate (Ritalin), ceruleus
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/pmid/20691429/ Cites 1 and 2 are very important and are often ignored in studies about PD and
dopamine
. When I first took c/l, I noticed a big improvement.

Atremorine
The exceptional results shows that AtreMorine protects selectively dopaminergic neurons and significantly increases naturally the

I am 20….(I wish !!!)
Still supplementing the old brain to keep the
dopamine
flowing but almost half the dose with what I started off and with all the stress of the drought and worker retrenchments I can truly say that to live smoke free is the way to live!

PD : Braak H, Del Tredici K. 2017 locus coeruleus, periphery
After years of research, it now appears that the earliest lesions could develop at nonnigral (
dopamine
agonist nonresponsive) sites, where the surrounding environment is potentially hostile: the olfactory bulb and, possibly, the ENS.

HELP! IS THERE SUCH A THING ANYMORE? DR'S PUT YOU ON MEDS, THEN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!
GETTING OFF OF REQUIP WHICH IS A "
DOPAMINE
AGONIST" IS EQUAL TO WITHDRAWAL FROM COCAINE AND AMPHETAMINES. SO DO YOU THINK I CAN SEE ANY SLIGHTLY FLICKER OF LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL? IF NOTHING ELSE, I HOPE WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN HELPS PEOPLE IN A FEW WAYS. 1.

JUST BEGINNING RYTARY
WE DETERMINED THAT I HAD LYME INDUCED PARRKINSONISM AND THAT THE NEURO LYME BUGS WERE BLOCKING MY
DOPAMINE
UPTAKE AS THIS NEURO HAD NEVER SEEN ANYONE IMPROVE FROM PD. EVEN AS LATE AS DEC 14TH WHEN HE SAW ME LAST STILL HELD THAT OPINION.

Thank you to everyone responding to my post :)
If we take levadopa to replace
dopamine
does that affect the other amino acids that work in our brain. Will this make the other aminos out of balance. Any thoughts.

Parkinson's pill with the fastest onset of relief?
It seems like the ODT (Orally Dissolving Tablet) form of carbidopa should work fast, but the levodopa requires conversion to
dopamine
in the brain, which takes time.
Dopamine
agonists can work immediately when they reach the brain, without any conversion required.

Mystery Solved! Solution is in your hands.
This lack of sufficient iron crossing the blood brain barrier has led to a shameful
dopamine
transport mechanism (abbreviated DAT in the article). A shameful
dopamine
transport system means very little
dopamine
, especially at night, going to our arms and legs to quiet them.
