Can You Have Too Much GTN Spray?
Hello, I have this Glyceryl Trinitrate spray that I am supposed to use if I get a pain. I have used it a couple of times, when I thought I had a pain, but it makes me feel really bad, (heart racing, head pounding and a bit sick). I am not sure how bad or how long I should put up with any "Pain" before

Laura Update - No More Chemo - On to Letrozole
Well, ladies, I have had some disappointing news these last few weeks. I went for my regular pre-Chemo blood tests, but my Oncologist called me the next day to say my Liver function looked bad. I wouldn’t be having Chemo and instead would get an Ultrasound of my liver. Also, my cancer marker had shot

Last week was challenging - chest pain and visit to A&E
Just over a week ago (Sunday 30th August) I decided to go back to swimming after a 5 month break. I swam 44 lengths in 50 minutes and felt great. Next day I noticed my blood pressure was higher than normal and had a chest niggle after light warm up walk and a 30 minute run. I thought it was muscular

Pain down my arm ?
I’ve been getting quite a lot of pain down my arms even just the right one, sometimes without chest pain. Is that anyone else has or is it just me. And if anyone does do you use your GTN spray. It could be I’m trying to do a little bit more walking and a bit more active, trying to get my confidence back

5K‘s? An impossible dream?
Managed W6, Run (?) 3 with the aid of my lovely new (and mega expensive) running shoes. Something rather improbably called Brooks Glycerin 18. Isn’t that some sort of cough medicine? Such is the gullibility of the novice runner in a smart sports shop. Nice assistant though. Had me on video gait analysis

Low Sodium when taking Prednisolone
Has anyone else found that they have low sodium which could be due to taking Prednisolone? I have had it since January and didn’t have a blood test for 4 months due to lockdown but had another test last week and despite adding salt to jt food which I was advised to do my sodium level had gone down. Yesterday I took my first 400mg of Venetoclax - ramp up has been going well but with a few side effects. Last week’s blood test showed my sodium levels had dropped but consultant didn’t seem too worried. I am experiencing ear pressure, a whooshy head with lots of dizziness and am getting tired really

Any treatments left?
Good afternoon, my dad has been battling this awful disease for 2 1/2 years. We have exhausted the majority of treatments. He has been on abiraterone, Xtandi twice, zytiga, Docetaxel, radium-223, BAT and now he is about to get his 8th treatment of Jevtana. He is 77 years old and is tolerating the Jevtana

Struggling with IBS D
I’ve been lurking on this forum for some time now and finally decided it was time to post. I’ve noticed that some people give background so will do this; I lost around 7 stone in weight (through calorie counting & exercise- only mentioning to rule out dumping syndrome from gastric band) 6/7 years ago
