Help I’m confused
Hi there I am sure this is a familiar story but new to me so any advice welcome. Started to experience ‘heartbeat sound’ in my right ear so went for a hearing test. Audiologist said my ear was so full of wax that he couldn’t see my eardrum. Advised me to use olive oil spray then see a micro suction specialist

Is my experience with IBS normal/Any tips?
Hi, I’ve had IBS for for around 4 or 5 years now and was wondering whether my experiences with it have been normal or if something else could be wrong also. I think my IBS flares are brought on due to anxiety more than diet as ever since I was at school I would get diarrhoea and pains nearly every day

When MO asked for peer review the insurance doctor, who appears to know little about treatment of prostate cancer being specific to each individual, denied

Results : Organic Acid Test (OAT) from Great Plains Laboratory.
I wanted to share the details of the results for my mother, based on Urine test . Hopefully, this will help a few on this forum. I am only indicating the High/Low items in the report. The remaining ( of the total of 77 items) were within the Ref. Range. See attached sample report from their website

Zytiga users, How much prednisolone do you take?
My father is Gleason 9. Psa 292 at diagnosis. Following orcidectomy and TURP, he's on zytiga plus prednisolone since August 2019. Last week, scary symptoms of low sodium made us rush to the Emergency room. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, how much prednisolone are you taking with your zytiga

Next Steps? Radium 223 or Jevanta (Cabazitaxel) - HELP - NEED ADVICE.
My friend is 56. Already gone thru Chemo (docetaxal), provenge, zytiga and xandi. MO wants him to start chemo which he doesnt want to do (again) and wants to know thoughts from others. Success (O.S) statistics with Radium 223? Running out of options. His PSA is rising but still low at .7 and imaging

Advice on blood test results for teenager
My daughter (aged 15) is due to have a phone appointment on Monday with a paediatric endocrinologist, after being reluctantly referred by a general paediatrician. If anyone could advise on blood test results I’d really appreciate it. Just as a bit of background, she was referred by GP to a paediatrician

Hi guys, newbie here I'm just coming up to the first anniversary of my ha and stent (I'm 55). Six years into PMR. What should my GP be testing me for?
I have had PMR for 6 years and have never successfully got below 10mg per day. I recently tried a DSNS to reduce to 9mg over 2 months and I just couldn't do it. 10 mg is where I really need to be. I am so lucky that I have few and minor side effects and am happy to stay at 10mg to maintain my quality

Kidney Stones
Hi guys Has anyone here had experience of kidney stones? I've had history of it since my early 20s. Usually every 6-7 years. Most times have resulted in my needing to go to hospital for strong pain relief and I've always managed to pass 2-3mm stones eventually. I've been struggling this week with severe
