Diovan

ACE inhibitors include drugs like lisinopril (Prinivil, Zestril), ramipril (Altace), enalapril (Vasotec) and captopril (Capoten), while some examples of ARBs are losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), candesartan (Atacand) and telmisartan (Micardis).

The only treatment I had since was blood pressure med (Diovan) which was switched to Losartan after they discovered the first one caused lung cancer. This year had to discontinue the Losartan because potassium level became too high. So now am not on any medication.

25mg inspra, diovan 80mg daily are producing a tickly cough with nasal congestion. Two months into meds can this clear as the body adapts or does it progress? Would be grateful for any personal experience of these drugs. Thank you.

I was prescribed Valsartan (Diovan), but information online indicates it might be dangerous for the liver. Can anyone give me examples of other meds that can be used so I can talk to my GP about them?

I hope it was a one-off, see the cardiologist on Monday to talk about ajusting medicine currently on 50 mg metoprolol, 2x80mg Diovan and Pradaxa. He wants me on concorn2.5 but alone the side effects sound scary. Reckon I will be reasoning to change his mind.

Just would like to know if anyone of you here is taking Sotalol Hcl and Diovan (Varsatan) to control your heart rhythm and BP. Would like to hear from you how is your experience with this combo. Thank you.

I have high blood pressure (as have many with RLS, unsurprisingly), but have had very unpleasant side-effects from both Diovan and a calcium channel blocker, both of which I stopped.

Hey guys I wanted to give an update I when yesturday to see my new kidney dr very nervous and prepared for bad news or news that I wouldn't like but suprisely my gfr when up and my creatine when from1.23 to 1.01 very happy he said my function is better, everything is ok so I'm relax but my concern is

Still on Pradaxa, 2x50 Labetalol beta blocker and 2x80 Diovan for hypertension. Had yesterday 2 beer for dinner..... not sure it impacted. Next follow up with cardiologist in 1 week. Lets see what he says.

I am on Eliquis, Diovan, Amlodipine, Metoprolol and Norvasc - yes, Big Pharma loves me. Any ideas would be so helpful!

I am on beta blockers, 50mg in the morning and .25mg of xanax in the am and pm if needed, but I always seem to need and my bp meds of diovan 160 at night. I take my lexapro in pm cause I have noticed it helps me sleep. Thank goodness cause for weeks I was only sleeping 2/3 hours a day.

On PRADAXA, 2 x 50mg Labetalol and 2 x 80 mg Diovan for hypertension. Reading all about your experiences post ablation helps me to keep anxiety down when extra beats happen. Cheers T

comments re history of likely pmr diagnosis since oct 2016, not confirmed , but given pred, high dose to start back then, anyway,i ask my gp, what caused blood in urine, which showed up back in sept 2016 and oct, not there now after physical, answer, " it happens, dont, really know why ", and been on diovan

Another week goes by and my pressure is still not to where we need it to be so the doctor thought at first we would double the diovan but he got back my blood test. The Diovan shot my sodium down and slightly raised my potassium. STOP IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

thinking it triggered pmr, it, high in fibre, protein etc, so i do have each morning for breakfast then take my pred dose now at 17.5, i am not losing weight however, but eating all the foods suggested as anti inflammatory foods, and my bp has stayed lower than before i was on pred(controlled however with diovan

I am on no meds other than small dose of BP med (Diovan) This has caused severe anxiety and constant fear of all small feelings.

I am also on 80 mg of diovan. I want to switch to Lisenopril but am worried about changing meds. If its not broke don't fix it! Am I right? Thanks to all who really care.
