Irbesartan or Co-diovan? whats best post stent and common side affects

Hi all, I have taken Irbesartan for 10+ and I guess I wont be the first to suspect my BP med is 'to blame' for a number of ills, fatigue, muscle weakness and routinely low red blood cells in the main, all are listed as possible side effects. I appreciate all meds can have side effects and without my meds I ' likely wouldn't be here' post a ACS and stent back in 2015. the 'Ills' apart I am really health (-: great diet and BMI and keep fit apart from when being floored by the ills.

Got me thinking that my meds were changed around 2008 from Co-diovan to Irbesartan it wasn't a clinical reason think it was a supply or cost issue, my 'net research' suggests not all Angiotensin RB meds are the same and each offer 'other' benefits, apparently Irbesartan offers added benefit for diabetics (not me) and Co-diovan benefits post heart attack and that's me. Any relevant comments greatly appreciated

I am diabetic & was put on Irbesartan which promptly raised my sugar levels so had to come off it.
