I had my ablation just over two months ago, was having quite drastic flutters for a few weeks, phoned the specialist who said come down and we will see, previously to that he had suggested the pill in the pocket tablet, to help, when I saw him he said no pill in the pocket, just let yourself go into

Breathless and just feeling worn out and totally fed up
I have persistent afib and am on 10mg Bisoprolol, Apixaban, Furosomede, Ranitidine and Digoxin (my GP has requested a blood test for this as I get quite nauseous) I had an angiogram done a few months ago which resulted in air bubble going in the tube an embolism I now think I know what a heart attack

Well that didn’t go to plan ...
I was in hospital today for my AF and AFlutter ablations. I was brought around from the general anaesthetic after an hour or so - my chest was feeling fine and then I realised I was still in the cath lab. Unfortunately the TOE showed a clot in my left atrium so they had to abandon the procedure. I had

BP Monitors
I'm new to this site. I'm mid 70's and I've had AF for 20+ years and live with it - reluctantly! with assistance of: Digoxin, Apixaban and a statin for good measure. Which ailment do I focus on?
I really need someone to "hear" me on line at least. My Dr's are being vague. First of all I have permanant atrial fibrillation, stage three kidney disease, a blocked left carotid artery, Sleep Apnia. And RLS. (restless leg.) I had a full hysterectomy in April 2018 and another surgery in May for

What do I do now?
Wondering if some of you wonderful people might offer some advice: Had Paroxysmal AF for five years and on Tildiem and Riveroxaban, but became breathless about four months ago - can hardly walk on the flat let alone up hills (and I live in a very hilly place). I eventually got referred to a Cardiologist

6 Weeks after Af Ablation
Have had af for around 12 years, under control with ameoderone and digoxin, just a few missed beats now and then, but the ameoderone stuffed my thyroid up, and I decided to have an ablation, 6 weeks ago, took it easy for a few weeks, gradually doing more around the house, but now 6 weeks from ablation

30 Years and counting
I can really relate to your 24 Year thing. I’m about 30 years in now. Aged 64. Are you in permanent AF? I have been since 2001 since overdoing it at the Gym. Magnesium really helps. And I’m on Tildiem (Calcium Channel blockers). Had Digoxin for a year and it does help. As you say we often are own best

My first visit to a cardiologist; not a success
I have had Afib for years now; 25 at least, so I know my own heart and what it feels like. I had an ECG in 1994 and they said that ‘they could see it happening but there was nothing wrong with me’. So I battled on and ignored it as best I could. In April 2017 I was finally – officially – diagnosed

New member and diagnosis with A/F
Hullo I am Suedot and I have recently been diagnosed with A/F The cardiologist has put me on Riveroxaban and later Digoxin I am worried about starting the Riveroxaban as many pills have terrible side effects on me. Is anyone else taking this drug who can tell me how they find it please?

Ablation tomorrow...
Hi everyone My EP has slotted me in tomorrow as the meds aren’t regulating my afib / a flutter and general atrial tachycardia (this is what the EP calls it)... so rate has been over 100 for the last 4 weeks - peaking at 180. Even with digoxin 500 x 2 and metoprolol and Bisoprolol... I’ve also had
